Are you on Wi-Fi when you're doing this? If so, do you have other devices on the same network? How do they behave?

My first instinct is to simply reboot the router and modem. Try that and report back.

Of course, if you're NOT using Wi-Fi, then the issue may be with your phone's carrier.

Hi all,

It seems that the latest update made my notifications go silent when I put it on vibrate. My phone used to vibrate when I get texts and emails but now they go silent. Anyone else experience this?

The only times it vibrates now are for phone calls.

I also noticed the "Notifications" line is grayed out in the attached picture.

Got the issue fixed. It was router settings for multicast drop. So as it was disabled now it work. So my ISP sucked and nothin with the phone. Feature came on on last router firmware update.

Power is all I've got. Some user installed app showing Power levels. I have "Battery Widget Reborn near my clock on my left and Sprint or Google's Battery icon on the right.

Yea, if it just started doing that for no reason I'd play around with different scenarios. Definitely give it a could wipe with microfiber etc

Did you buy phone from google or from AT&T? I had the same issue on Verizon with my last phone. Bought from manufacturer 'unlocked' and everything worked except for *visual* voicemail. I had to call into voicemail like the stone age.

I forgot to manually check for mine and it installed automatically tuesday. I usually manually check and install every month (3xl)

yep seems crazy that you can backup individual items but only restore when it comes to a reset

With TWRP, if I want to make what I want, would I have a problem with the new device? (I've heard there could be an ANDROID_ID conflict)

I created a slider adapter for a view pager i put the animations inside the isViewFromObject method but it work just for some pages of the view pager , is there any slide method where i put the animations, like when i slide the animations of the items start just for the current page.

Scheduling is really difficult with that app, new version of android 10 has kind of bugs for not allowing scheduling to work in my phone

It's not an Android Studio feature but a Web service feature. You either write your own web service or use Google Cloud services or Amazon web services.

Hello everyone, I've also been having this same issue for the last couple of weeks with my Galaxy S6.

Thanks, but I did try that and all it seemed willing to allow me to do was back up the info to a new phone. That is not what I wanted to do since I was trying to back up the data prior to a factory reset.

I was finally able to get Android File Transfer working (for some reason it stopped working, perhaps due to a recent Android update) and used that to copy the data to an external drive. I also used the built-in backup-restore functionality and will keep my fingers crossed, so to speak.

As Mikedt said, basically, you can't. A data recovery specialist may be able to recover the data, but it won't be cheap.

When you first setup an Android phone, usually it should prompt you to connect to the internet first, like connecting to a WiFi AP or using cellular data from the carrier.

Although if it doesn't have an internet connection, it shouldn't just hang should it?

Mine did that too, when I got this copy in Jan this year, it seem vaguley familiar for me, you just need to find the right tower that is pretty close to the phone.
