I don't think it will install a second copy of the app (I don't think that would be possible without changing the package), but it is rather silly. It's just the sort of thing that happens when you have the same app in 2 app storage.

I generally ignore the Samsung app store until it occasionally pops up a notice to say I have 39 updates or something. Most of these will be pre-installed Samsung crap which I'm not interested in updating, but I have about 2 edge apps which I installed myself and can only get updates via the Samsung store. So I check whether there is an update for either of those then forget that the Galaxy Store exists for another few weeks...

After a little research I think it's more MS SwiftKey related than an android update.

Switched out to the Samsung keyboard and couldn't replicate this issue. That immediately made me suspicious.

Add that to the fact that this wasn't even an issue days ago but all of a sudden it is. Check the update history & SwiftKey updated a few days ago.

Then check out the reviews on SwiftKey to find others complaining of it.

That OTG checker app is only going to confirm whether your tablet does or does not support OTG. But that's only one aspect you have to take into consideration. The OTG cable or adapter you have might be the problem as not all brands or models will actually be compatible with your tablet's OTG capability. Plus it's a matter where even when your tablet support OTG and your OTG cable/adapter is compatible with your tablet, that does not mean that external USB device you're trying use is compatible with your tablet.

So in your instance there's a chain of variables to consider -- the tablet, the OTG cable/adapter, and the DVD drive. Unfortunately you need to go through an arduous process of trial-and-error to see what does and what does not work. As @mikedt referred to, can you successfully mount something like a USB thumb drive or an external hard drive to your tablet via USB? If yes, than that indicates your OTG cable/adapter is compatible with your tablet. If not try more than one external drive because while most will be, some won't. If you can't eventually get your tablet to detect an external drive, assume you do need to find a replacement OTG cable/adapter that's a different model, or even brand.

Once you've confirmed your table and OTG cable/adapter are compatible, that leaves the DVD player as the problem. If you did have to get a different OTG cable, that itself might be the solution to the problem. If not, it could be a driver issue.
With a PC, you might need to just install a device driver or some software to be able to use an external DVD player. Or when you plug it in, that prompts the OS to automatically load its existing device driver. But with Android when it does not occur automatically in the background, it's not a matter of manually installing a driver, that's something done by installing a manufacturer-supplied app. It's the app that contains the necessary driver/firmware. So check in the Play Store if the manufacturer for your external DVD player has an app and hopefully that solves your problem.

Of course one of the commonest reasons people lose the ability to install apps is lack of space in the internal storage, so given your other problems that may not be an option. The phone needs some internal free storage as working space, so will block installs before it runs out. The limit varies, but if you have just a GB or so left that's very likely the problem.

Yes, the SD card is fomatted as internal so it can't be removed and checked. There is about 1.5G free but I can't free up any more because for some reason, it doesn't seem to delete stuff, even junk files, photos etc, it just says it is deleting them but doesn't. I deleted all the apps on the SD card and file manager says they are gone but it still reports the same amount of memory is used as before the apps were deleted. It looks like the whole thing is corrupted so I guess the answer is to export the chats as text files and media and do a factory reset.

Yes, try contacting Lebara tech support again. Some of the time you might be dealing with a knowledgeable, helpful staffer, other times maybe not. It's a real gamble.

But offhand, your Armor X6 is appears to be primarily a 2G/3G model:

I managed to pair an Andriod Device to Android Studio via WIFI using a QR code. But then I got a "Default Activity Now Found" error when I tried to run my program to the device, I went through the steps to fix that error. And that led me to not only cleaning and rebuilding the project but when I restarted Visual Studio, I thought I would remove and re-add the listing in Device Manager.

And this is where the problem is. Since I removed the device listing in Device Manger, I have not been able to get it back. I have been trying both the QR code as well as the pairing code. The Android cell lists the computer. But each method I have tried to get Android Studio to recognize the cell, it fails. It says it may take up to 2 minutes to complete but it will say that there is an error pairing the device. It does not matter if I I the computer name from the list of paired devices on the android or not.

Tried it. Didn't appear to actually forward UDP. Or maybe it did but just not the return traffic

I don't have the hardware for emulator acceleration. And the ARM emulated images close upon launching. There are security blocks on the that computer and I think the admin might have been agressive in blocking emulation.

I managed to pair a different computer to a device via wifi. I will give that a try for a while.

When one of my older phones stopped making phone calls due to the VoLTE requirements here, a busy signal was all you got if you dialed, and shortly after that it tries for up to a minute to make a call, and gives up.

As for the last poster, I'm assuming they're spreading or attempting to spread the FUD about 'don't use this as a phone or you'll get hacked!'.
