Help URGENT HELP: Samsung A54 calendar events all disappeared

If your calendars are associated with different online accounts (e.g. different email addresses) then as long as you log in to those same accounts and sync calendars they'll all download on a new device. I've no recent experience with local (i.e. unsynced) calendars, but transfer apps are pretty reliable these days and I'd expect a Samsung-to-Samsung transfer to be one of the simpler cases.

If you use end-to-end encrypted messaging (e.g. Signal or WhatsApp) do check their transfer processes before you do anything, as a transfer app won't get their data across. And make sure everything important is working on the new phone before resetting the old one.

Windows password retriever.

If you are in the laptop already (which you make it sound as though you are) then you could just create another user account with admin privileges and then use that one to change the password of your old account.
If that's not the case and you've bricked it, there's a way to get your data from it, but that requires pulling the drive.

Also: a recommendation for *everyone* to create a recovery stick and also use an online password system like LastPass (I only have a free account but it securely stores what I need, if the HD fails or I'm building a new system I have only to web into the portal and all my passwords are there, of course I have to manually update it because it's the free version. You could also put your windows password in there, so long as you can access it from another device). Then, in a coded manner, separately write down your windows login password (and the one for the password system) and keep them someplace no one will easily stumble upon them). And remember to update them when you change them.

Labor Day Weekend 26

I mowed my lawns this morning. I skipped one that is too crisp to mow. I then rode my bike 36 miles. I will likely ride some more after dinner. I put together a puppy, kitty playpen that arrived today from Amazon. I watched the Royals lose. Nothing exciting going on at my place.

What it feels like to lose weight?

Just by tweaking my diet and exercise, the weight is starting to come off. My lean muscle weight is 143 lbs according to my metabolic scale, so I need at least half that in grams of protein, or 72 grams, per day. After my 2-mile walk this morning, I slammed a 30g protein shake; then had a half cup of full milkfat cottage cheese (13g); and then fried up 5 eggs and 5 half-strips of bacon for each of us. That put me at 83g of protein before 8 AM - and I haven't had the first hint of carbohydrates. I'll mess with carbs at lunch and early dinner... but my weight is down over 4 pounds this week over last Monday and I feel great

Possible Gboard instead of Fossify

Installing a new keyboard wont automatically switch your phone to that new keyboard app, you also need to enable it in your phones settings.
Settings - System - Keyboard - On Screen Keyboard - Manage On Screen Keyboard.
Or Settings - System - Languages & Input - On Screen Keyboard - Manage On Screen Keyboard.
Or a similar location.

After that you can open the new keyboard app and it should prompt an option to switch to that keyboard.

I want to see this movie , just heard some who probably didnt know how to appreciate it. The book i am sure will make it more interesting to see the screen version.

Yeah you might look like you spend all that money on a lense though, over all I think, well I have a friend who is taking some photographic classes and some of his work is impressive, on his fb page, over all, I do not see him walking around with a giant camera around his neck... he always carry his cellphone around him..

I've taken to front-loading protein (with zero or minimal carbs) in the morning. This morning I air-fried some bacon and fried 5 farm eggs in butter. It was delightful. Later I used the pressure cooker lid on the air fryer to hard cook the last 14 eggs in the fridge: hopefully I can buy 2 or 3 dozen more this afternoon. I'm already within 4 grams of lean protein of hitting my daily goal (50% of lean weight in grams per day) and it's not even noon.

Sure, a nice waffle or stack of pancakes is awesome: but that should be very seldom.
