That's pretty much what I did. I found the identical part number (SP3496A8H) on Amazon. Chose a UK based company called "KingSener" and ordered the battery, via Amazon. I had watched a YouTube video several times to check out the procedure and followed it precisely. And then back to my first post for what happened next. I'll try emailing KingSener to see if they can help. Thanks again.

Yes, numerous times

I narrowed it down at this point being the amazon and ring app on an a android operating system not like something on my wireless network
My final test was connecting to the free wifi provided by my isp and the apps worked fine

Not sure what setting on the router for my network setup might be causing this because all other apps and devices work as intended

(Android 9 was about the time that Calendar Snooze began to stop working properly, as far as I remember)

If the earpiece got wet, which often acts as a speaker as well, and the phone has no designed-in water resistance it could be that the water damaged the earpiece membrane. That would have been worst while the membrane was actually wet (it would be softer), but could have left a lasting effect after drying - especially if you used it at high volume when wet (early water-resistant handsets would limit the volume when they detected water exposure to reduce the risk of damage to the speakers).

From what you describe that's my best guess anyway - obviously impossible to know for sure from here.

Your screenshot also shows fast speed tests of 51Mbps, 25Mbps (up), and 14Mbps.

Three possibilities:
You are sometimes in an area with poor reception, which means slower speeds.
You're on an overloaded tower, leading to slower speeds.
You went over your monthly data limit and are throttled to 2G speeds.

If you're not over your data limit and often have slow speeds, only look at carriers that use AT&T or Verizon depending on which is best for your city.

On the phone I have a few, little used apps, which seem relevant now, such as App Permissions. Nowhere do I see anyting that seems relate to 'drawing over other Apps, or 'blocking Play Store'. I still have the App which some years ago I managed to identify as the culprit ,,,,it was MultiClip, which I still consider to be worth keeping. I see nothing to suggest it is now the cause of the problem.

Still intermittent and now it's worse: the nib of the S Pen just broke! That might explain why it was acting up (MAYBE)

EDIT: I replaced the nib, so far so good but it's a terribly intermittent issue...

Did you delete them in the Google Photos app? That has a trash can.

Resurrecting this thread to note that I will soon be flying to Europe. I’m vaxxed and only a little concerned, since I’ll mask up for the flights as well.

On a personal note, I’m excited to fly on the 787 Dreamliner (one direction United, the other Lufthansa). That it has excellent air filtration is another bonus.

To get to the Dreamliner, the first hop is to ORD on United as well, and a friend (who is a UAL captain) has bid on the flight. I’m really hoping he gets it, I haven’t seen him in such a long while and I’ve never flown with him. Of course in these post-Bin Laden days there wouldn’t be any cockpit visit or anything like that anyway, but it would still be pretty cool.

Once you download F-Droid, you must find the downloaded file and tap on it.

There will be a "scary warning" pop-up, which is Google's last attempt at keeping you on their plantation.

Install the app, then open it.
There is a set-up time when the app is new.
Literally thousands of apps are available on F-Droid.

After the initial set-up, it works like many other app stores in that you type in info and apps that 'match' come up.
Searching manually by category is also available.

Lightning is an excellent browser, but NewPipe is the way to go for Youtube.
Use Lightning for your other browsing needs.

Hi all!

I'm developing an App.
Since the App should load many data at start, I decided to add a splash screen.
I followed the instruction on https://medium.com/android-news/the-complete-android-splash-screen-guide-c7db82bce565 (first choice).
The splash screen works perfect on my mobile phone (Android 7) and a test phone (Android 6), but not on my Tablet (Android 5).
In that case it just will display a black screen until the App finished the initialisation.
No errors are logged.

Can someone help me?

Do you mean how do you put your device in to Safe Mode, as suggested to the OP by @ocnbrze?

If so which device do you have?

Seems the samsung memo is tremendous problem, that effects many users of samsung.
I have been searching for very long time.
I spend over 3 hours with samsung support without any solution.
They suggested to use samsung flow. (BTW: the agent was not capable of using it).
The way they suggestede is to copy a memo on phone then paste into flow and from pc pick it up and save it. quite silly.
the problem with it is that it will not copy pictures nor the tile.
Then try to do that for over 2000 memos.

If you try to share momo from phone to some messanger, and the memo has a photo, it will only share the photo.
Ichoose way of selecting all then copy and paste to messenger like line which is more flexible, but I am not going to do that for all. I am still in search of solution.

The smart switch saves in the memo.nmmm which can be opened by 7zip, but then trying renaming the bk file to sbak so the notes for windows to open it fails,
The samsung becomes too bing , profit oriented like apple.

I have been using samsung products for over 20 years,. That is enough for me, my next phone wont be samsung .
If i find a solution i will post here

Thank you so much for your input. I shall take a look on FILMORA on Windows. Well I guess it's not perfect on small devices as phone and pads

that is for wifi calling. you can receive and make calls via wifi without having to use up your cellular minutes.

you will need a bluetooth mouse since you can't get to the developers option to select usb debugging. it usually requires you to tap the screen more than several times.....op, i think you are pretty much screwed.

cut your losses and get a new phone.
