Help The phone locked itself out of nowhere and added a password

Your friend obviously did set up a lockscreen password at one time (just randomly guessing the necessary password is mathematically not going to happen) so you should be the proactive one and get things settled now. Have her go into the Settings menu, open up the menu for Security, and intentionally set up a lock screen with a password or gesture or whatever that she won't forget.

Hi, great product - I have been looking for a product that reads all my various ebook and pdf format and allows me to list them by cover view by folder on device. perfect!!

Although is there a way to pre-load the cover display (you have to go into each folder to load them once) - i dont mind running it at the start (update) and letting it update all my books/cbr/pdf/epub/mobi formats with covers (from the files).

Lastly is there any reason why some of my book covers are not display (just shows file name), even though the cover exists in the file and is shown when using calibre on PC, etc

Could you be more specific and provide some pertinent details? Vague references can only result in equally vague suggestions.
-- What is the specific model I.D. of your Note 10.1? (i.e. some have a SCH-i925x designation, some GT-N80xx)
-- Where did you obtain the ROM you used, and are you sure that it specifically matched your model? ROMs are not interchangeable between different models or different variants, they are very specific.
-- It's also vital you used the correct version of TWRP. They're also model specific. There's an Exynos and a Qualcomm version of TWRP for Note 10.1 devices.

From your description, it sounds like either the flashing process failed in some way (posting the end result Odin log might reveal something notable) or you used a ROM that doesn't match your model I.D. Flashing an incorrect ROM will result in something like that a boot loop or failure to boot up at all -- with no working operating system your Note can't boot up so it just fail. Try downloading the appropriate Samsung stock ROM from sammobile or frija, flash that onto your Note to restore it back to working condition. Flashing a stock, Samsung ROM will install a clean copy of Android and a stock Recovery so when you get your Note working again, you'll need to start over if you want to root and install a custom ROM again. Just be sure everything you flash onto it is for your specific model.

Picked up 2 of these phones for $900 each from Verizon April. Within 14 days the first one screen cracked while in my pocket however prior to that both have the screen wobble and would lock up randomly browsing or just in the app selection screen. After the screen broke I got a new different phone. My wifes has been ok aside from the frequently random lockups and screen wobbles until yesterday... Yesterday her phone just turned off and never came back on after a phone call. These have been the single handedly worst decision in a phone purchase I have ever made. After days of research and reviews trying to find a durable phone i have ended up with a lawsuit against verizon and kyrocera for lost time and data. The worst part is we had made the purchase to ensure our new sons photos and video memories would be secure and protected. What a disaster we happened across this absolute foreign GARBAGE.

this is one of my clients tank that i take care of for work. i had to take a picture of it to show my boss. there is fish in there, i just turned on the lights and the fish were still hiding when the lights came on.

so you see the camera is not bad. this is just me pointing and shooting. i have not messed around with the camera options yet. but you see that the camera is quite good. it is not on the level as the s21 ultra. maybe in the next generation they will add a more robust camera..........but i have no complaints as of yet on picture quality.

S20 ultra Abnormally High benchmark scores?

AFAIK some Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs can actually have a higher benchmark performance than their Samsung Exynos SoC counterparts. How that translates into real world performance may not be so noticeable(if any).

FYI Samsung only made phones with Snapdragon for compatibility with CDMA networks in certain countries, namely America, China, and Japan. For most regions and markets Samsung puts their own Exynos in their phones and tablets.

Is there a way to have your phone's DND trigger on events from your work profile?

I've been copying my calendar events manually from my work to my personal (without all the data) so that DND will trigger on that calendar. Often times, those work events get moved and if I don't update my google calendar, my DND is not activated accurately. Is there a way to overcome this?
