Finding time Stamp

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to make a custom controller for a light. I've never made an android app before, but I have done a lot of programming before. Mostly php, javascript and other web based languages. I was able to find the official app's apk, but it is all functions, and no running code. So I am not really sure what I am doing.

Anyone have any advice?

If all else fails, there is a longshot that you can try.
There is a hidden feature that you can unlock that could give you more control over your notification bar and a few other options as well.

The thing is, it is different on all makes and models of devices, so I can't really say what you will or won't get out of it.

At any rate, there is no harm in it, and it can be fun.

What you are going to do is pull down the quick settings menu, and locate the settings pinwheel.

Tap and hold it, for about 10 seconds- until it animates (spins).
You will see a toast message confirming that you are unlocking the System UI Tuner.

Now go into your settings, and under System there should be a new option- System UI Tuner.

Select that and go through it and see what is available.

Cannot set a default app to display my pictures

Nothing worked till today. I added another photo app (Google Go, aside existing others such as Photos, Gallery) and now I was given all available options when I clicked a BlueCoin pic. I selected Google Go and it worked. So I tried to set Google Go as my default app for pictures. In settings > apps > Google Go > default > there were NO options to set it.
I found that Photos (by Google) had been set as default picture app. I deleted that default.
But could still NOT set any picture app as default. Options greyed out. Not available.

How come?
What to do?

Try this...

Open your file manager app and find a photo, any photo.
Tap on it to select it.
If there is no default app set to open the file, a list of available apps to do so will appear and you will be asked to make the decision.

After you do so, and the file is viewed, do this procedure again.
This time, when the list pops up, you should have the option of 'open with always' or 'just once'.

If you select 'always', then that app will now be set as the default.

Like I said, the function is to let you know if you have any notifications.

If you want to read them, you must unlock the phone.
This is a simple security feature so as to not allow unauthorized viewing of your notifications.

S20 Ultra Timelapse: 1080p HD but not 4K?

I am very disappointed that Samsung hasn't activated hyperlapse in 4K. It's even more surprising that no one is complaining about this feature. This is the only post I have found on this issue, so I still don't understand if this is a hardware or software limitation - or if it is just a feature that Samsung chooses not to activate. Anyone know? I would expect the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processors to be able to encode a 4k hyperlapse - especially with 8K now available.
