Android File Transfer constantly stalling + does not transfer files FROM iMac to POCO F1

What I am working with:
Mac Os 10.15.7 (and also previous version) on an iMac Retina 5K 2019,
Xiaomi POCO 11 (running MIUI 11.0.9), and
Android File Transfer 1.0.12.

For some reason, Android File Transfer (AFT) will not allow me to transfer my files from my iMac to the POCO F1. I have been trying for an entire day now, but nothing.

I have attached screenshots of the issues that keep popping up. AFT will start the transfer, but stops a few mins in with an error (actually, numerous windows of the same error - pic below) that it cannot transfer certain audio files. However, this was not an issue months ago when I transferred the SAME audio files into my POCO Music Folder.

I initially thought: maybe the audio file names have characters that aren't recognised by AFT; I changed ALL those file names. But as you can see in the pics, that didn't help either. I even updated my OS.

As soon as these errors come up, AFT stalls, and then tells me that my phone is not connected, and "File Transfer" (on the phone) is not activated... even though it was activated every single time.

So now, I cannot transfer anything to my phone, and have no music.
Is there any other freeware that is more reliable?

Your help with this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance!

What smartwatches have metal caseback?

I'm currently considering to buy a smartwatch, but through the reviews they seem to have plastic casebacks which I don't like.

So far the TicWatch Pro and Huawei Watch 2 have metal casebacks.

Do you know other smartwatches with metal casebacks?

Thanks.

I know that I am late to the party. The Samsung active 2 doesn't have a metal back but, it does have a glass back. It's a quality watch 👌

Samsung Ace GT-S5830i transfer of piccies

Sorry, Should have said I use a Linux Laptop don't use Windoze in any shape or form. So that didn't work.

Check you've got the MTP support library(libmtp) installed in your Linux Laptop. It may not be installed by default, depending on whatever distro it's running. Distros like Ubuntu may not automatically install MTP support, because of Micro$oft software patents, and you have to do it manually.

Help Apps gone from SD card after its removal

I decided to uninstall (or remove) and reinstall those apps and run them from the internal storage. But due to the problems with the SD card, I still have a lot of data saved on it. Like 6,44 GB from Amazon e-books.

I can open most of the card's content, like images, videos, and documents (PDF, DOCX, TXT). But I can't delete its content, copy or move content between forlder or format it.

So I guess the problem is the card itself,
not Android. What do you think?

Sounds very much like the micro-SD has failed, and it's gone read-only. Going read only, something that flash storage can do if it's failing, to try and protect the data that's already on it, so it can be retrieved. Running apps from removable storage, does significantly increase the amount of read-write cycles and can shorted its life, and literally does wear it out.

As for the Amazon e-books(Kindle?).. Reinstall the Amazon app, sign-in, and all the ebooks you purchased should re-synchronise on your device.
