Are they both tied to the same Google account?

What is the purpose of temporary time outs?

As AshS23 eluded to some devices have stuff like this built in but it is impossible for us to tell you what it would be called on your device without knowing what your device is. Samsung has Bixby for instance and the one that AshS23 mentioned. These are usually called assistants but you probably won't find it on the device under that name.

I asked about the shared Google account because I have a recommendation but it is an inexpensive paid app if your device doesn't have an assistant. Tasker is an automated app that you can find at the Play Store that automates actions on Android devices using logic statements. For instance if this temporary timeout is a daily event or a Wednesday event that happens at the same time a profile might look like, Wednesday at 19:00 change screen timeout to 10 minutes. Wednesday at 20:00 change screen timeout to 3 minutes. It can also do things by location, opening an app, date, incoming call, SMS and probably a few that I've forgotten. It's very versatile and can do so many things. Which brings me to my next thing. There are other free automation apps at the Play Store, I don't know those apps so I can't recommend one but many have the same capabilities. Tasker has a forum at Android Central and a Tasker wiki page online where you can turn to for help, I don't think the others do.

Perhaps if we knew more about why you wanted to change your screen timeout we could recommend other things. Why and perhaps the circumstances around the change. For instance if you are just trying to keep it awake longer for a class there might be a better way, easier way, so on and so on.

But it looks like there's some common factor with all three apps, "my5, all4, itv.com" and the Pixel C. Maybe worth you emailing the devs, and enquiring about it.

Of course I don't use these apps and I don't have a Pixel C, so I can't help you any more.

My Nexus 6P has been such a good phone that I've been willing to deal with any problems, including replacing the battery earlier this year.

Today when I moved it from the car into the house, it would no longer charge, so I swapped wall warts and cables between the car's 500W AC inverter and the house with the same results, even with combinations of both. If the phone is powered down then the charge display lights (71% when powered down), but no additional charge is indicated even after several hours, nor does the charge display go dark after the initial indication..

I doubt that both chargers would fail on the same day, so does this mean that some internal component has failed? Is there anything else to try, please?

Which adapter did you buy from them? I used to get audio cables from Lunashops many years ago, and it used to take 6wks to get it to US, plus, I have noticed things were getting lost in translation during our communication Tbh, when you are dealing with something like BT adapters or other cheap gadgets, better use eBay because of accountability of sellers and money back guarantee. If something doesn't work or breaks within a few weeks, they are willing to send a replacement or offer you another one at discounted price. Otherwise, you buy "as is" since there is no guarantee.

Your phone may be rootable, however there is little info on it. One thing I want you to verify, is if there is an option saying "Allow OEM unlock" or "autoriser déverrouillage de l'OEM" something like this in the developer options. There is an universal option to unlock the bootloader, using fastboot and magisk patched boot image. You may need to find it on your own. It is possible, just a bit harder. And if you don't understand some "android root" terms, such as fastboot or bootloader unlock and more, then root is not for you.

I've used my phoneas a wireless router using the Hot Spot feature, in the UK on Three (3) network. with 4G it works really well. You just need to set up the mobile hotspot on the phone, give it an SSID and password, enable it annd you're good to go, just connect to it as normal on the laptop with the password. that's it.

So I took the Solos for a test drive and I'm impressed by how loud they are, considering there's nothing in my ears. Solos allows me to be fully aware of everything around me, while I'm still listening to my favorite tunes. Google Assistant is just a double-tap away. While I haven't tried the PTT walkie-talkie feature or navigation yet, I was impressed enough to pay for prescription lenses to go into the clear Solos frames. That way I can actually use them at my PC as intended. Plus, the Darling Bride thinks I look pretty good in the sunglasses. I had to explain to the optometrist what they were - and she thinks they're cool! I gave her the website so she can order a pair.

Now I'm sure there must be one that will take a photo of the flower and not the background, but I'd sure like to hear it from someone who has done it.
Why is this so important? My wife uses her phone for three things. Telephony, rare texting, and photographing native plants and wildflowers for ID purposes. She has found that she can use some Google app or function to help her with the ID of these plants, but it only works when the camera takes a decent photo.
And we are not trying to make the camera focus too closely. I know this because if I stick my finger next to the flower on the same plane of focus, the camera will focus on my finger.

The camera on my phone will focus on whatever I touch on the screen, additionally, you can pull the f-stop down to create an out of focus background in addition to the "portrait mode" pre-set. I think most cameras will do that stuff these days. My phone is a OnePlus 7 which isn't exactly new. Hope some of this is helpful good luck!

If you want to cancel one of them, just delete that one. Ifyou want to change just one, tell it you just want to edit that one (or delete that one then add a new event). But it has to ask when you change an event on the sequence because it cannot know until you tell it whether you want to change just one or all of the events.

It does not ask me whether I want to change just one event or all of them. It should... It says "Details//Change all events in the series//Change this and all future events." I understand that to mean "Do you want to change all the upcoming events scheduled for this time, or do you want to change all of those plus the ones in this series whose dates have already occurred?" The calendar does keep past scheduled events -- I'm guessing until the whole month is over.

Thank you very much for your reply and apologies for my initial posting which is -as I see it now- incomplete. I am using iMac Pro with Catalina and it used to work before the Android update. The connector-message pops up on my Samsung Z Flip but not every time. Just recently my wife bought a Huawei P30 Pro and she switched from Samsung Note 10+. I used my iMac Pro and Dr.Fone for copying her data between those 2 phones and it worked just fine. That tells me the problem must be the Z Flip.
