Cannot locate app

Welcome to Android Forums, Foxysmom! :)
I go to settings and it shows the app installed
Okay, when you're in settings and see the app listed, press on the app to see its info, then scroll down to the bottom; you should see something like this [down at the bottom]:

Does your app show that it was installed from the Play Store? If so, then press on that sentence and it should take you to its Play Store page.

Does it? If so, there should be an 'open' choice; that's one way of running it. But not ideal!

As my buddy @Dannydet said, look for it in your app drawer--HOWEVER, if you're using a third-party launcher [as most of us do], it's possible that its icon has either deliberately been hidden or it's simply not where you're looking for it. (That may apply to a stock launcher, too; I wouldn't know.)

So...go through the above steps and post your results. If you follow its link [via settings] and it does not take you to its Play Store page, it should give you an error message, like 'not found.' It may have been removed for some reason. But that doesn't mean you can't use it, as long as it's on your phone, and we know it is. It's just a matter of putting its icon in your app drawer.

Weird problem

Oh, shit, @puppykickr, you've got me in tears. :(

Thanks for sharing your story of Nikki and Benjamen. I feel your pain--and joy. :)
Is there a place for this, or can we just do it here?
I guess since this is your thread we are not hijacking it, so I guess it would be alright.
Well, there's an old thread somewhere called 'Caturday,' but I don't know if anyone's still using it. In general, don't worry about hijacking a thread if: the OP has veered off and you want to participate; you're the OP; your addition is relevant somehow; it's a loose thread to begin with. Worst case scenario, staff will split off the unrelated posts into their own thread.
He died from liver failure.
I'm sorry. I've lost a cat to liver failure, so I'm sure that Benjamen was miserable toward the end. You did the right thing, the loving thing, sending him off to Rainbow Bridge peacefully.

I love your stories of things he did and how he behaved. I also understand how losing Nikki affected you so profoundly, you didn't want another cat. Been there, done that, but mine was a Great Dane named Star.

I have a million stories, too, about my pets, past and present, but won't tell any of them right now out of respect. Yours deserves its own time for a bit.

Later, I'll share some...

Multi Page Registration form using fragments

Hi im making a password manager in android studio and storing all the data using firebase. The issue im stuck on is creating the registration form. If i simply had one activity with all information on one page i would be able to set this up. However ive got too much infomation to register and it looks messy. So ive created a single activity and have three fragments. After each page the user will click continue until the final page where the user will sign up and all of the data from each fragment is sent to the database as one.

fragment 1 is responsible for user info e.g. name, email, phone number. fragment 2 is responsible for master password and fragment 3 is responsible for shared secret.

having not used fragments im abit lost with the whole process i know you can use interfaces or viewmodels to send data back to the activiy. But what would be the best approach be? ive initialy set up interfaces on each fragment but im unsure how to call these in the activity and then create a method which takes the information from each interface put it into one then send it the database.

Thanks for any help / ideas.
