I came across this simple Nokia phone that does quite good with reminders
I set an activity or event and set the date and time and this reminder app uses the ringing tone of the phone so you will thing is someone calling you. And when it stops without you picking,it continues after ten minutes. So that you will see what you have set as a reminder

It feels like that functionality has stepped backwards. My "profile" is set to point to an old email I no longer have. If you are going to say it grabs that from the Google profile, I went there and removed that old email so it is no longer connected. After removing it, the profile still refers to the wrong email. When you "edit" the profile in the Google community, there is no way to edit the email. You can only edit your username.

All of the functionality that I remember being in the original Google Community is gone. What I see has no features to filter or search my prior contributions. I find that there is a "Community Console App" that you can install on Android, but how do we access even basic filtering and searching in the community using just Chrome web browser? The whole thing is frustrating. People want to be able to just search on the community and post. Instead I spend all my time on basic issues like navigation and how to change an email I no longer have.

The hotel I stayed at last night was using robots for room service deliveries.

1. if you read the reddit post, the very 2nd comment which is from the op who said that this is only for samsung's web browser. it does not exist in chrome.
2. nope the pull down is quite easy for me. just pull down and hit clear. not very difficult really.

is this service related to a similar one called Subaru Starlink?

so in twrp you will not find the term nandroid backup. but it is a very common root terminology that you should familiar yourself with. a nandroid backup is just that a backup. in twrp it will ask you what you want to back up. you should at the very least backup system, data, and boot.

also do not forget to wipe properly. twrp i believe has a factory reset function which will wipe data, cache and dalvik cache. once wiped then you can flash the custom rom.

Samsung Galaxy S8....I really goofed. I was trying to restore messages blocked from a certain number. I followed all directions, starting with settings. I found the name and the blocked messages, which were represented by little white boxes which needed to be opened. I realized I must have missed a step, so I went back a page. Well, when I returned, the blocked conversation had disappeared. I have no idea where to find it. I tried from a different angle, with directions which showed the blocked numbers, including the one I was looking for. But the final step was to click on something with SMS on it. There was no option with these letters on it, so my search came to a screeching halt. Is there any way to retrieve the missing conversation of blocked messages?

You can have a go at building such things yourself, e.g. Jolla make resources available if you want to try to build a version for another device. But there will be a learning curve before you can try this.

According to their help page you can deposit money you have in the app to your linked bank account.

To cash out in-app:

1. Tap the Money tab on your Cash App home screen
2. Press Cash Out

I am new with you and with android 13. I have an Oppo Find X3 Pro and I find it quite a reliable phone. What it bothers me very much is my data privacy.

I've read that privacy dashboard from privacy settings came recently with Android 12 and is for our "privacy", but I think it was better before without it, they should give us an option, to enable it or disable it. For me it's abusive to have an inside system app that's accessing my microphone, camera, location, in short my personal data all the time.

I have removed Digital Wellbeing with ADB for the same reason, but I can't figure out a way to remove Privacy dashboard or somehow to stop it from accessing my personal data.

I hope to find a solution with you guys!

On Pixel 6 with latest software it does not have this option. The only thing under Backup is to turn it on or off, no folder selection sliders available.

but what happens if you dont update your apps to meet this?

I think I need to clarify what I mean by Visual Voicemail. In Google's Phone app, (when it was working correctly) when I would get a voicemail, the voicemail would appear visually on the Visual Voicemail screen as a little timeline, along with the name of the person who left the VM. And then you click on the timeline, and the voicemail plays audibly (that is what the Google Phone app calls visual voicemail). I realize that there are other apps called Visual Voicemail that actually present a visual text version of the voicemail, but that is not what I am referring to and that is not what I want.

Maybe in the USA, but in the rest of the world, it has long been illegal for a phone manufacturer to lock their phones to a specific MNO.

OnePlus phones are more than equal to any of the bloatware offerings from the unreliable Samsung.

Through the general menu, I set the alarm volume down to 0, left the alarm's default audio track (ie. didn't mute), and…Google played it.

So, on my phone at least, it seems it does require silencing the audio track within the alarm.

OH shoot it does too! I didn't expect that on my cheap and cheerful A13 so I didn't even check - I've never even been that far into the battery settings.

If anyone's wondering it's in settings/battery and device care/battery (where it also shows the level and time remaining)/more battery settings.
