My phone is a dual sim one. When I swapped the two sims so that the sim using mobile data is placed in sim1, the wifi hotspot has internet access.

Can't really comment about Samsung or Google backup, as I don't use either.
But I'm thinking if you can go without a phone for 60 days, 2 months. Do you actually need a phone at all?
Three? Holy fish Bearszyft.well I've had 3 Heart Attacks so far but i would also love to see that solar eclipse of 2024.

You don't really need to be. You've got a counterfeit phone, and a rather cheapo one as well. And these are often very poor quality. There's really nothing you can do with the thing, as there's usually no support information for fake products. And really only thing you can do is see about returning it for a refund.
If it had been a real Huawei nova 5 Pro, and not a cheap knock-off. It probably wouldn't have crapped out on you, and manufacturer support wouldn't have been a problem.
I searched and searched and finally found this lol...I do have a wallet pop case and my Santander card was causing the issue. Its kinda dumb as it never happened before the update. Thanks!!This normally only happens when you have your phone on or near your wallet or purse as it picks up your contact less cards. If this is not the case and it is randomly happening try restarting your phone or switching NFC off in the menu shade. (Pull down from the top of the screen)
I can't say what you have available in China, Mike. In the USA, there of thousands of personal weather stations that can and most are linked to Weather Underground. My weather station is made by Ambient Weather. I have it tied to WU so that I can check the weather here at my house when I'm working out of town. Olbriar's Place is the name of my station if you have a desire to see if it's raining here or notWhat do you mean "personal weather station"? is that a device you've got or something?
I had a look at Weather Underground, but it was insisting that I was in San Francisco(wrong!), and would only show weather for places in the US.
