Search Android calculator with no decimal places and with rounding

One of my calculators (Neocal) has the option to set the "precision", which is actually the number of decimal places rather than the precision. If you set that to 0 it rounds to the nearest integer.

If you like the "built in" calculators it may be more complicated than you need (though you can ignore most of the features it doesn't have the "really simple" view that they have), but it's the only one I have installed that does this. Unfortunately anything less than a full scientific calculator is useless to me so I don't know about simpler apps (RealCalc is the one I use most, and is the simplest I can live with).

But it may be that if you check through the settings you will find a similar option in another calculator.

Texting a contact list from Android to iPhone

I just had a play and one of sharing options on my phone was to save the vcf file. If you did that you could check that it was correct before sending it.

But to be honest it looked very much like it was offering to send a single vcard file with all of the contacts rather than a set of separate files (which is what I would expect). And if it sent a file like that and the iPhone didn't read it correctly that would suggest a problem with the iPhone app. Maybe try resending using a different app (WhatsApp or similar) rather than SMS/MMS and see if that works better?

Hidden apps

Someone else's
Is that 'someone' your minor child?

Let me spell out the extremely short version:

Q: "Is there a way to check and see if someone has hidden apps and pictures on their phone?"

A: Yes. Numerous ways.

But if the device isn't your minor child's, you're going to need its owner's permission, and cooperation, to proceed.

Please advise.

S9+ Charging Hot

I am having this same problem. When charging the phone up from under half the adaptive fast charger gets so hot it kicks off and back on over and over. The phone hardly even gets warm. This is my 2nd s9 plus. Bought the first one new on eBay and it done this, returned that one because it was a carrier phone (I wanted unlocked) the 2nd one I bought also does the same thing. I don’t know if it could be from using an extension cord? I have only charged it a couple times so I’m not sure yet. I will plug it directly into the wall next charge and see what happens.

How to upgrade to latest version firmware

welcome to AF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if there is no updates for your phone, then there is no updates for your phone. not much you can do really other then root it. however, there really is no info on your phone as to how to root it, so i doubt that it can be. this is a very low end device, and probably not really on any developers radar to support rooting the device.

.......so i think your phone is what it is. maybe it is time to upgrade?????

Oppo A1K BUG: Google Contacts Notes Field Limitation Of 1000 Characters

In Oppo A1k android phone whenever someone tries to add a google contacts notes exceeding 1,000 characters limit, the remaining data in that contacts notes field gets truncated or deleted.

For example, if I create a new contact in my mobile phone and try to add more than 1,000 characters note in the Google Contacts Notes field, it does not let me go beyond that limit.

Please note that this limitation is phone manufacturer specific since I can easily add more characters (beond 1,000) in Google Contacts’ Notes field via Google’s web interface on any computer desktop or laptop/notebook at;

Phone Model: Oppo A1k CPH1923 (Android 9 Pie Kernel4.9.117 and ColorOS 6.0.1)

Sync Issues - Exchange 2010 Contacts & Truncated contact notes

It is December 22, 2019 and I am still finding this issue (of google contact notes field truncating data in a phone set) with another Android phone set i.e. Oppo A1k. There used to be a work-around app;

Contact Editor Free (For lengthy contact notes) by DMFS GMBH
https://apkpure.com/contact-editor-free/org.dmfs.android.contacts

But this is no more available on Google Play store. Do you guys have found any other solution to this? There seems an issue with the technological interaction (communication) between Google Contacts team and the mobile phone manufacturers.
