That's a reassuring revelation that Youtube is working. But something to keep in mind while you diagnose your problem is if you're watching Youtube content using the Youtube app on the TV it's connecting from your TV through your LAN to Youtube's online servers. Your phone isn't involved. Have you tried using the Youtube app on your phone instead? Then it is a matter of your phone as an in-between controller. If that also works than at least the issue of some kind of networking issue between your phone and your TV isn't likely to be the problem.
How long has it been a problem using Google Photos to cast photos to this TV? Did it work before and then it stopped, or has this been a long-standing matter?
It still might be prudent to at least restart both your router and your phone to eliminate one-off glitches. If the problem still occurs after a reboot at least you know it actually is something to look into.

Thanks for the input. We were able to finally guess the password, so the initial crisis is over. We are taking it back to have the power button repaired, though.

I have a few different chargers (both cables and wall blocks that I can mix and match) from various devices. I find that with at least one combination (I haven't tried all of them) the charger only works in some outlets. It works fine at home, but at work it charges very slowly until it stops before fully charged. At my sister's house it doesn't charge at all (but the charging indicator is on). With just the cable, it charges fine from my laptop. It charges fine in the car too.
I'm wondering if it has something to do with the level of power from the outlet and what the charger (either block or cable - not sure which) is capable of transferring.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the suggestions. AA has all the location permissions and I've never used a VPN. I am going to try to clear the Cache and Data and see if that helps.
I also stumbled on my google location history as well and just removed the location from those lists. Fingers crossed something helps.

Well it has gotten much deeper than that, I think when I purchased the phone it may have been corrupted to begin with because it has gotten as deep as my SIM card and the google play store. I noticed a week ago the mac address on my phone is from the Netherlands and this is also the location of my hacker. I personally can't Imagine someone going to such lengths considering no money has been taken except for some little google charges and one or two movies, unless there is a running credit that I am unaware of at the time. I guess I will go the distance and continue on gathering information each time this person messes up. When someone is unstable and doing things like that you always have the upper hand because of their mind set. They can't help but to show themselves in one way or another because what is the point of doing all that stuff if they can't get any credit for it. The narcissist in them is their downfall. I am a patient woman and all I have is time sense he has left me with nothing to keep me busy. Thank u for all your help and I hope you have a great weekend.

I need to implement an ID card scanner for my app. The User Interface can be similar to a QR Code scanner or like the one in CS scanner app. Need to read QR/bar code data to capture and save the image when both a QR Code and face is detected in the ID Card.
Another functionality need to implement is to take a selfie (in another activity) when our face is detected and crop the face part and save the image.
Which free libraries and SDKs are available for the above mentioned functionalities?

I am having the same problem with some differences on a brand new Galaxy 9. Not all of my photos are affected - some turn out fine. The affected ones are not always completely covered and are not always gray. They are various colors. Also the thumbnails of the affected photos are sometimes covered with a solid color or sometimes with what looks like a transparent colored filter. Only one of the photos comes up with the transparent covering when you open it but the rest are covered with a solid color. I tried to attach some samples of the affected photos but was unable to edit them - kept getting a "corrupted jpeg file" error. So I've attached screen shots.

I'm not surprised that test.mp4 file is a problem, while h.264 has a really wide range of support, h.265 not as much. Playback involving h.265 is often software based so it'll be app-specific (the issue being default media players tend to focus more on basic support for most commonly used situations).

I don't think the codecs being used are this particular issue. AAC and h.264 are almost generic at this point, and have been for several years. As for resolution, I tend to doubt that's an issue either since screen resolution and aspect ratios are such big variables. Most of the time whatever we're watching is being scaled up or down in accordance to the display at the time.
... and anecdotally, out of curiosity I just fired up a very dated but still kicking Galaxy S3 (KitKat) and that 'renderExportVideoNew 5' file was viewable using the MX Player Pro and the VLC apps, but the default video app just showed a blank screen with a very brief (two second) audio bleep. No clue as to whether this does or doesn't add any useful input but given how common those codecs are it just doesn't seem like either is directly related.

Looking up info online for Firebase, file transfers go through their online servers so it would highly unlikely there are scaling/file alterations involved when you're uploading or downloading on-the-fly. Again, it's the carriers taking it upon themselves to scaled down higher res photos and videos when they have to interact with other, when you're interacting with Firebase that's a different matter. Online file storage services like Firebase should not be altering any archiving/backing up as you use them. You can confirm this by simply checking the original file size of a file, to the file size of that same file uploaded to Firebase, and then to the file size of a downloaded copy of that same file -- the original file size should be bit-by-bit the same as the copy. (Use bit size as opposed to something like megabyte size, a really subtle change might not be noticeable using MBs but even a few changes in text will be more evidence using bits)

Odd that a security update apparently messed up something like voicemail. (A version upgrade maybe, but even that is more of an isolated issue) This probably won't solve your problem either but when a version upgrade that results in some kind of quirky behavior it's often recommended to wipe the system cache partition so you might want to try that. The system cache partition is separate from your data partition so this won't affect your data at all, even if it doesn't help it doesn't hurt to at least try. You need to restart your phone into its Recovery mode to wipe the system cache. This guide walks you through the process:
