why does my screen randomly go black

My Galaxy Tab A 8.0 does the same thing. Randomly swaps from landscape to portrait, then the screen turns off. 30-minute screen timeout setting. Tapping the power button does NOT restore the screen. Only a reboot seems to fix it. I have no case on my device. Very random occurrence. Sometimes it happens 1 or 2 times a day, other times I can go 2 or 3 weeks without any problem. Has happened ever since Lollipop, now running Nougat.

Android 9 Microphone feedback

My wife just got a new Galaxy S9. I noticed that it was significantly harder to hear her when we were talking. After a lot of troubleshooting, I've believe the problem is that her microphone is picking up the sounds coming from her speakers and canceling out all noises from being recorded. This happens when she has me on speaker phone as well as while we are in a video chat with Duo, Hangout, Skype, or Messenger (like I said, a lot of troubleshooting lol).

Is there a way to adjust the noise reduction or ambient noise threshold in Android 9?

Thank you in advance!

no luck with frp bypass mediatek

It's not for google to conjure up thoughts of stolen phones If a phone's been reset it's none of their business Google has service features for owners to reset their phones if lost or stolen and in that way can determine if a request came from the phone's owner If no such request was made there's no reason to assume the device to be stolen except that someone who bought a used phone is going to be very frustrated and without the use of the phone until they bypass frp Also, people trade in broken phones at cell phone retail stores bearing the names of the big four and selling their plans who then sell the broken phones and they end up on ebay
tbh i feel better about this feature. if i left my phone lying around someone could find it and factory reset it and then use it as their own with their own acct. if you reset your phone, it is your responsibility to know your own acct info. even if it was bought used, as long as it was factory reset and then you sign in with your own acct, it is still your responsibility to know you acct info. its not google's fault if you forgot and can't log in. for me this is a very welcome security.

you can always go onto your pc and do a forget password with google and change the password which in turn should be able to log into your phone to unlock frp.

All Things Netflix

just finished Minndhunter season 2.........i sure hope they keep this one going cuz it is brilliant. it is about the initial years where fbi starts to learn about profiling to catch serial killers. they initially started to do this by interviewing serial killers that have been caught. they interviewed people (if you want to call them that) like Ed Kemper and Manson among others.

it is such a great show.

Help How to RE-fix volume level on FiiO M7

I don't know much of anything about Android systems, so I'm hoping someone can help me here. I use a FiiO M7 as my main music player, and primarily I use my AirPods with it. When I first paired them, I noticed the volume level was very low, even at the maximum setting. After some googling, I enabled developer options, and set the Disable Absolute Volume setting to ON. That fixed the problem, and it's been fine until about a week ago, when it suddenly reverted back to the quieter volume levels. It might worth mentioning that I regularly switch the AirPods between my iPhone and the FiiO, but again, until now this has gone without issue.

I've now unpaired, forgotten, re-paired, restarted the device, switched that setting off and on several times (and all of these in every possible order), and done a complete factory reset, and the low volume persists. I'm wondering what else I could try to get this fixed.

I've read that the Android OS this device runs on is a very pared down version: it says

Kernel version 3.18.14-user-g3a4465b-dirty
FiiO@asc #112
Build number 1.0.2

Is there something I'm missing here?Is there a VERY specific order I need to be following these steps in that I'm somehow failing?

How to do i am Android 9

All mobile operating systems have to be built for the specific model - there's no generic build you can just install on any phone. It's highly unlikely that Wiko will produce an Android 9 update for this phone (a two-year old budget model will rarely get any support - that costs the manufacturer money, and margins on such a phone were low to start with, so it doesn't make sense for them). Which means that the only possibility is if someone has made a custom ROM based on Android 9 for this device.

If they have then they'll probably be able to tell you how to root the phone and install it. But it's a big "if": ROM developers tend to be enthusiasts, so tend to target higher-end and more popular phones. So I'd definitely find out whether such a ROM exists before worrying about how to install it. To be honest I don't think it likely.

Android Studio Disabled

In the menu I can't get to I would like to i would like to setup my own custom startup Activity without calling it Main_Activity by default. Setting this options here the Manifest also adds the right information with out me having to edit it.

I doubt if you could rename the Main_Activity as desired but you could try.. maybe the senior developers here might know something on this..
I don't understand why do you want to rename the Main_Activity.
