I have now moved 1 file from a previously visible folder into the one that wasn't and all the photos including that one are suddenly visible and transferable!

Any ideas, what's going on? I know AFT is not the most reliable, especially when transferring from SD Cards but that's just weird!

I thought motorised popup selfie cameras to avoid notched and punch-hole screens was going to be a thing with more manufacturers. So far only Vivo and Oneplus have those. Or Honor with their Magic sliding format phone, again to not have notches or punch-hole screens

I've been using Message+ from Verizon on my Pixel 2XL for my sms/mms app for a long time. But it's having some major issues so i switched to Next SMS (used to be Handcent) a couple months back but that one doesn't have a driving mode and auto replies. So i switched back to message+, and it's still broken.

In Message+ you don't get a notification icon or sound for anything but the first message. So if i send a message to someone, their reply, whether it's 3 seconds or 30 minutes later, doesn't play the sound or give the notification icon in the bar.

Duplicate messages are back, they had this fixed last year sometime. I was texting my son yesterday and every reply was doubled on my phone. Happened with some friends also, on different carries and various phone make/models.

So, what i'm looking for is another text/mms app that can do auto replies when bluetooth is synced with my jeep. Thought i'd ask here first rather than spend an hour or 2 downloading, testing, and removing various apps.

I have run into an issue with Android Print. We print from Android devices but get a pixelated text (at the edges of each character) and sometimes random holes/gaps in lines or characters.

The following printers are used:

• Samsung Xpress M2026W
• Brother HL-L2350DW

The print job is send via a wireless connection.

We have tried the following variants for printing:

* Samsung & Brother Print Services:
both using Apps like Adobe Reader and our own app (printHelper, printManager,...)

*Samsung Mobile Print App
Directly print a pdf or image (jpeg, png) and through our app

*Samsung Cloud Print

*Brother Mobile Print app
directly print a pdf or image (jpeg, png)

So far we have only been able to get an aceptable quality when printing from desktop (Win 10, Ubuntu 14.04 and 18.04), The printers are all in working order.

We have tested Android 6, 7, 8 and 9 from different devices (tablets and smartphone from different manufacturers like LG, Lenovo, Nexus, Pixel, Huawei,)

We also eliminated that the fault is with our documents by printing pdfs and docx files with arial as the font.

Does anyone have any ideas why this happens or an idea how we can fix this?
It is not necessarily required that we use apps or services that are provided by andoid/samsung/brother.
We are also willing to hire someone for fixing this if it turns out to be a huge amount of work or if deep inside knowledge is needed.

its not always an app. you can get push notifications from websites directly.......if you are using chrome here is how you can turn them off:

You can simply disable play protect settings in your google play, this will possibly resolve the issue. Google play scans all apps if they can harm your device. SO just hold the scanning process but that is not a good idea if you want to keep your your device secured.

Select one in your gallery and look at the details/properties to find where they are. That may well give a clue as to where they have come from.

You can probably just tell your gallery app to ignore that folder, or stick a file called .nomedia in it (the "." is important) and nothing in the folder will appear in any gallery app again.

do you have them on your sd card? if so can you try looking at it via pc?

This is an android issue. They are the ones who make the requirement like it is. They are the ones who force users to give up more information than necessary in order to allow an app to have access to some lower level of information. This was brought by an ANDROID update a few versions ago. I have more than one bluetooth device that requires this. In one instance, I spoke directly with the developer of the app. The makers of both of these devices say the same thing. They do not need any location information but do need access to BT MAC addresses. Android should allow me to limit their privilege to that rather than all location information.

Another point; in order to use a certain bluetooth product, I must turn on the location service on my phone. When I do that, all other apps that use that permission now have access to that information. Additionally, if I am using High accuracy or battery saving location mode, Google tracks my location.

By the way, I have a friend that produces music and has sold some beats that he produced in ubuntu studio.

So I got it working, by pointing at ic_launcher_foreground instead of ic_launcher

They are both pngs, just somewhat different sizes. I'm not understanding why one worked and the other didn't. Can anyone offer some insight? There's obviously something for me to learn here!

I barely do wash cloth, my oil sometimes does drip down to my eyebrows, it just hangs around my eye sockets, I do not get too dirty around my face. I double up on the body towels for one over the tub, so I use that when I step out, the curtian does not function at all sometimes, but depending on how much time I do have. Most of the days I usually do not learn to calculate on different areas of my morning rituals either.


Mind you I have a buffet full always. Shifting gears away from the norm, though the curtian has air, and inside such a small cubical rest room.

Depending on what time it is too, if I watch sometimes the clock towards a different dellusion then yeah, it can count against my own time or getting packed up for that day or so. So I use my wash cloth every once a while anyways..

I do see a lot if Delta planes having a straight plug now, so you could get away with that. Not sure I'd want to deal with that though. For long flights I'll use the built in entertainment, so I bring my wired ear buds, otherwise I read my book (kindle).

I have an adapter for my phone, but I'll never use it.

Absolutely. Wife had some of same issues with 2 XL. I told her to just factory reset, which she hasn't done yet.
