My understanding is that Media volume is music, video, and such. It's not a notification. More like the call volume.

I paid myself 100.01. I did it to self-comfort. I hate losing.

My 2-year flirtation with foldables is ending. While it's still the best phone I've ever owned, the Z Fold 4 is just too thick to fit into many of the specialized phone mounts I have. I'm selling it and getting a Galaxy S23 Ultra like the Darling Bride's. It'll be the first candybar phone I've owned since the Note 10+! That's really the big complaint I have with the Z Fold (well, that and their plummeting values) and wish you all well with the Z Fold 5 or whatever you end up with. It's an awesome device!

UPDATE:

I put my Z Fold 4 on ebay with a 10-day auction; and it's heartbreaking how the Z Folds drop half their value as soon as the seal on the box is broken. A phone not even 9 months old is lucky to draw $850... I'm quite happy with the S23 Ultra. I vaguely recall the huge screen, but this screen is more than adequate and this onboard S Pen makes up for it. I'm glad you folks love the Z Fold: but keep it until it wears out because the resale value will disappoint you.

I'll tell you a secret, the job I had in corporate America started us on Motorola then Blackberry's two way pagers. You do remember pagers before cell phones don't you? Then they gave us 6200's which was my very first cell phone. I haven't owned every model because I keep things until they die, but it's pretty much the only phone I've ever carried.

I tried a touch screen for a solid month and just couldn't live without my keyboard. So I gave that phone to my daughter and we've been together since. I still have my KeyOne but the space bar skips but it's my backup. What's really sad is Blackberry took the HUB and all their apps out of the play store so the island really feels lonely. I was thinking of getting a Titan but I don't know what I'd do without the HUB. I'm spoiled by everything being in one place.

The device has just gotten Android 12. Android 11, the previous version, would have had a stylized 'R' for its icon for the same reason. Android 10 had a 'Q'. These are remnants of the dessert naming scheme, with Q being for Quince Tart, R being Red Velvet, and of course, in your case, S being Snow Cone.

obriar, thank you for your input, what you say is obviously absolutely correct. However, I'm sure that this must have happened many times, and for those who forget their pattern, there must be a way for them to get over the problem. I haven't used the HTC phone for probably 6 years or more but I thought it might come in handy as a backup phone.

what about google photos? as long as your google account gets sync'd so does your photos.

you can then just download the photos to your computer.

Sounds like you might need a better Bluetooth headset. I've got several BT audio devices, headphones(Bose & Sony), earbuds(Huawei), and a cheap BT beanie hat. And the phone call audio is good on all except the hat, which has a dreadful mic in it. But it's okay for music.

Conversely, I've found NetGuard to be functionally better than NoRoot. Perhaps NoRoot has a nicer user-interface but that's a subjective call. My bias is I prefer to use an app that works better than one that looks better -- i.e. NoRoot doesn't support IPv6 connectivity.

Yes, you can develop such type of app you should make the payment system of the app safe and secure. And interface of this payment app must easy to understand for everyone. And one more thing firstly you must check out the requirements which user is seeking in that type of app.

I joined up with these folks to do my part, you are most needed too they need all the help they can get. It is open source and the vision is to create AI that the public is allowed to be involved with. Not tech controlled by a company or the rich. They are behind, though... your aid would be most appreciated. There's lots of ways you can assist too so go check it out and see what you can bring to the table for this worthy cause.

I did that, and that made the option return. Not sure why it's now hidden in Dev options, but it worked. Thanks! I read similar posts online but they were specifically referring to Messenger and it involved 'bubble notifications' which doesn't apply in my case.

I have a system service running on Android which uses BouncyCastle to create a "secp256k1" KeyPair. This is the code:

This all worked perfectly fine on Android 12L, but I am upgrading to Android 13 and now I get the exception: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: no such algorithm: ECDSA for provider BC. Note: This is the same exception that I got on Android 12L if I didn't execute setupBouncyCastle. It seems like this method stopped working on Android 13?

If anybody has some details or an idea of what could be going on would be greatly appreciated!

what is Ooo? android setting process? can you explain more on what this is. and why can't complete it? error? bootloop? screen froze?

just remember the more details you give, the better we can help.

but not all device can screencast. your tv has to have that capability. why not just get a chromecast? it is super easy to do and the new chromecasts comes with its own remote.

what are you trying to connect? what phone do you have? are trying to cast to a tv?
