Can you top this?

Not me, but my wife did.
She was having some issues last weekend, with her phone, and asked me to look at it.
I don't know why, but she had 73 apps needing to be updated.

Ok, now I felt brave and asked her why? She said that as long as it was working, she didn't do anything to it. She also had well over 100 pages in chrome. No wonder hers is slowing down.

I cleared out her junk and updated her apps and now she says it's doing much, much better. 3-4 months she'll be back... Just watch.
You win again! I surrender! Lol

Key tracker/finder app that actually works

I'm on my second electronic key tracker/finder with an Android app Bluetooth function, Pebblebee, and it's even worse for failing to work properly than the first one I tried, Tile (sport.) In both cases the app simply doesn't work, usually not "finding" the key tracker at all, just continually saying it last saw the device a long time ago. In the case of the present Pebblebee, even when it successfully buzzes the tracker on my keys, the app doesn't "find" it/show it as found. I press the button to stop the buzzing and the app continues to say the device was last seen a few months ago.

The ratings for the Pebblebee app are very low and lots of other app users are commenting with the same kind of problems. This is despite the device having been successfully paired with my phone's Bluetooth when I got it and having worked from time to time.

Is there an electronic tracker out there that actually works with Android and works properly?

(PS I read on one web page that some of these apps might struggle to "find" the device in a place with a lot of competing signals. We live in an apartment where I can always see lots of other bluetooth devices when I check for Bluetooth devices to connect to. There are also lots of WIFI signals around us in the building. I don't know if that has anything to do with the bluetooth-dependent app being unable to "see" the tracker. You would think that when I go out with my keys, phone and keys in close proximity to each other, the app might then "find" the key tracker but it does not.)

Voice call dialing

Hi Dannydet,
Unfortunately this is not what I am looking for. I do not need ringtones. What I need is the capability to record my own voice sample, link it to any entry in my contact list and when I want to initiate a call, dial the number to which my voice sample has been linked when I pronounce the same voice sample. But thanks for trying to help.

Chair o' bed bugs

The current trucking company I work for has about a dozen terminals located around the country, several of these are training centers. Because of over flow, several people got sent to a local motel until space at the terminal open up.
The people who stayed at the motel ended up bringing bed bugs back to the terminal. They ended up trashing all the mattresses, sheets and blankets, the dorm area was sealed up and the heat was blasted for several days.
From my understanding the company gave each person effect by the bed bug incident $200-$300 to replace clothes and other items
Because all clothing and any thing else that could be taken on a truck was scrapped
Everything accept phones and electronic stuff
I was lucky and wasn't there, I arrive about three weeks after the incident .

Help Android forums is convuluted.....

I totally understand what you're saying, but technically it already is on the homepage since the sidebar has all the links that the quick jump has. On mobile they each take one click to reveal the same links. So it's kind of redundant.

What's New should really be in the sidebar.

Yeah, that's kind of what I'm saying. There should be a "What's New" no matter where you go.
