just curious why a tablet? most wearables need a phone to operate or at least the app does. i have never heard of using a tablet to setup and sync and update the watch from.I'm looking for a fitness tracker that I can use with my android tablet (Samsung galaxy tab 7), and most of them seem to be made to use with smartphones only. Does anyone know of an affordable fitness tracker that is compatible with a tablet? Thanks!
can you explain in more detail? what exactly is going on? are you talking about thew outside temp is lower then the temp of the phone? the more details you can provide us the better we can help. The temperature is lower than the operating temperature of the phone functionality is limited
Android is not necessarily the answer, it's an option. If you are happy and comfortable with your iphone choice that's great. Welcome back.It has been eight years. The android made me nuts after a few years of iPhone. And I did, indeed, return to iPhone.
I gave up!
Apparently my brain wasn't capable of making the switch.
Thanks for the advice to you and all.
Yes, thank you, I'm familiar with F-Droid.F-Droid is your friend.
I guess it depends on how you look at it. Google in no way dictates or controls what I do.Google is your warden.
Just a guess, but I'll bet it's related to your version of Android, which is quite old (current version is 9.0). Perhaps an app update wasn't fully compatible with it, and causes this behavior. It's doing the same thing you described. I am using a rooted Note 4 with 5.1.1
Yessir. Will do. If this happens again, let's make another (fresh) post, k?It actually happened again yesterday (maybe why this was bumped although that post doesn't say anything useful) but it's ok now. So I'd say lock 'er up and if it recurs we'll just post again.
No I use a third party sorftware to send mass SMS to my 450 work colleagues but when send it asks the permissions and I have to keep clicking allow so I rooted the phone and got SMS limit unlock software but doesnt workSMS limits and the amount you can send are set by your carrier and your account with them, and not by the phone itself, for example you might have a limit of say 200 free SMS a month. Rooting and modifying the phone won't get around that
Thx OCNBRZE, tried that too..i don't use firefox, but is there an option to display the web page as desktop rather then the mobile version of the page?
