Root [MOD] LOTS of Build.prop edits!

C'mon guy, support developers! They work hard to give you custom ROMs, tweaks on build.prop etc. I'm sure none of you work for free, right? Couple of dollars won't make a difference for you, but if everybody chip in, developers will be more motivated
I couldnt agree more lol I never realized how much time/effort this stuff takes. My hat goes off to everyone who does it.

Anyone try changing the multitouch points to more then 2 .I would but my pc crashed and don't wanna risk a crash of phone.

I just want the updated build.prop, nothing else.
So Beesly (currently unemployed) gets a cut from people buying the premium version? I doubt it.
Is there any way to get the stock build.prop file back? I'm trying to track my issue down, and am going to replace this back with the stock file. I cannot record and playback video I've recorded from my X.
The only things I have done are rooted, changed build.prop with this file, overclocked using the milestone app, and that's it. I have removed the overclock app, and am about to replace the build.prop to see if it resolves my issue, and I'm hoping someone can help me out.

There is simple fix for that, using Root Explorer, just scroll down through the build.prop file to where you see 4 lines starting with "media.stagefright.enable" and change the 4 values from true to false. They are about 3/4 of the way down the page.
Overclocked? I'm assuming you're on 2.1 still?

does the Update build.prop also contain the lcd mod and the stagefright mod? also, the only build props i see on rom manager are from beesley, is this you?

He is the OP of this thread, you'll see Beesley at the bottom of the post. Check near the bottom of the first post to see if it includes the lcd and stagefright mods.

just notice in the OP for root explorer instructions it just says to copy/overwrite and reboot, maybe for this type of file it doesn't matter, but when i install applications this way i always have to change the permissions after pasting- i did change the permissions for the build prop when i "installed it" and seems fine and if the permissions arent a factor with .prop like they are with .apk then disregard, but if it does matter, might update the OP for newer folks so they understand the need- if i hadn't already had issue without changing the permissions, i would have just followed the instructions to the letter.

I dont get anything from rom manager $.
All in all, and I'm NOT complaining here.. I've made $12 dollars from donations. And NONE of them were from rom manager.
If you buy Rom Manager Premium, and you should cuz Koush is why we get to do all of this, all of that money goes to him. As it should

Don't think this has anything to do with your edits but I only just noticed it after loading the latest build.prop via rom manager. My notification light continues to blink, with no new messages, constantly when the screen is off. The light is off when the screen is on but as soon as I lock it the light comes back on. Tried rebooting, checking my emails again, havent been able to get rid of it.
Anybody have any ideas?

In case anyone else needs to run Visual Voice Mail from the Market, here's a copy of your build.prop with the VVM fix and LCD density 220.

tried to do this through bootstrap/Rom Manager to no avail.

I have had no problem updating maps or voice, I don't use the other 2. The fist app I have had a problem updating is calorie counter, so new everytime I open the app I get a pop up telling me an update is available, but there is nothing in the market :-(
