Alright sent, sad to report much like Dirrks 1250 Im no go on the 1250 myselfoh well at the end of the day 50Mhz is not a titanic difference
nemesis said he would put out a 1.25 and 1.3 ov [1325mv] so Im going to try that of course but Im pessimistic myself. Seems I got a weakling hummingbird. Again though 1.2G is not so bad. I know last week I tested a 1.3Ghz for nem at 1350mv and even that wasnt stable for me so I know the 1.3@1325mv wont fly for me 1.25@1325mv may or may not, it really seems extra voltage does not help the hummingbird which surprises me.
of course now nem isnt even in ircsaid he was testing 1.3G and would post links later we'll see I guess
Yeah there are a few who can and more power to them apparently they have big boy hummingbirds compared to my little boy hummingbird. Some peeps seem to be good with the 1250 but its hard to gauge what the % isI love that nem is doing all this great work but IMO I think 1300 is kinda a waste....so few could run A r
*real* 1250 that 1300 doesn't seem like it would benefit anyone at all really
Far be it from me though to tell anyone how to spend their time.![]()

I agree that most 1300 peeps were not stable before though 1250 has a few more thats seem stable. Im not sure we even will see the uber kernel. Tonights OTB's all have just 5 steps. Nem said it was when he went to the 7th and 8th step that people lost their ability to charge [ie the imfamous battery connection problem]. Who knows, we'll see I guess.Just kinda my own guess from posts and such it seems maybe a 1/4 to a 1/3 could run dirrks 1250 back in the day.....I'd think the number would dramatically drop to prolly 1 in 5 tops. For a 1300...but more likely 1 in 10 once you filter out some people who love to claim it works great but then get lockups and such and don't fess up.
Also you you get the "it runs great except for games....this is amazing!" Crowd who run it just to say they can run it
This is where I derive my 1 in 10 from....so who knows....I guess we LL see what the froyo kernel has in store....but I look forward to the super kernel with more slots....I'd leave it at 1000 for most stuff, but nice to know you can crank it up when you want

Like we both said until 2.2 drops Im content with 1.2Ghz its where I was with Dirrk. Batt is good for a day. I should maybe try to coax nem into a 1250mv version since thats what Dirrks was an I was stable with that and Im sure many others would be too
Yeah agreed on all the above, jt dropped some new 12/12 1Ghz voodoo and non but honestly with nem now using same 5.0.1 voodoo as jt and the extra 200Mhz forgetaboutitYup...its just nice to have some oc options again...ill still always go with newer code any day so as long as nem keeps producing ill be partaking...,
On a side not drods oc voodoo had some not great battery life...i haven't checked his github to see who he built it from....but it felt snappy and not bad for his early fascinate work
Im really hoping adryn builds kernels at some point soon as well....his battery kernel for the incredible is just short of amazing....it fools you into thinking the inc isn't an awful battery hog without much sacrifice in performance at all

Be interesting to see if nem sticks with it or does a Dirrk. With voodoo now more or less out and stable even jt has gone from daily to bi weekly kernel updates. Just not that much too change, same problem geeknik has hit we seem to just be at the performance limit on eclair
wiping davlik cache is redundant if you wiped regular cache.
JT mentioned an app last night called cachecleaner ng, cleans it automatically every 24hrs. If you're lazy like me![]()
Thou has been hit up on gtalkman I always get out of the loop on weekends. Saps hit my up on gtalk later.
Hmm missed that one might have to look into that anything to increase laziness I mean automationJT mentioned an app last night called cachecleaner ng, cleans it automatically every 24hrs. If you're lazy like me![]()

1250mv for all his 1Ghz kernels since 11/24 unless otherwise notedAnyone know what UV settings jt is using on his kernels? Want to try a similar UV on a different Galaxy S.
Thanks... That's -25 at max. Are there different values at lower frequencies, where most of the action is?1250mv for all his 1Ghz kernels since 11/24 unless otherwise noted
stock is actually 1300mv at 1Ghz so its -50mv. Wow great question I wanna say its -50mv at all steppings I cannot remember accurately thoughThanks... That's -25 at max. Are there different values at lower frequencies, where most of the action is?
Yeah there's been some debate on it. While the other SGS might very well be 1275mv the SF is 1300mvReally? That's interesting, because the i9000 (and other SGS models, I think) maxes at 1275.
i usually get them in airplane mode regardless of my setup on dj05
