Could be interesting if it does indeed have the Tegra 2 in it, but we all know how reliable most Verizon employees are. I'm sure that Verizon is being tight liped about it, if they told their employees, there would be no keeping it secret until release, as they seem to try to do. I would imagine that what VZW employees are doing is speculating, just like everyone on this site is.

I'm hoping that Verizon puts anything with decent specs on the market from HTC at this point. My folks got Droid2 and motoblur is confusing as all get out. I'ver never been impressed with the build quality of moto phone either. I do not think motos "comeback" is going to last unless they start spending more time on what the user wants and less time on locking down their phones.

Really can't be too surprised by this. Think about how the roll out of the original Incredible was. I was following it on the board back when it was originally called the "Passion" and was rumored to be releasing on Verizon Black Friday. Passion became the Nexus 1, Nexus 1 became the Incredible. Release date went from Black Friday to Christmas, Christmas became New years...... Yada, yada, yada...... Finally released end of April.
Hate to bust balls here, but anyone expecting a release of Inc HD before April 2011 is probably being unrealistic.

I've used Miui on my Moto Droid and had mixed feelings about it. The clutter drove me crazy (just couldn't get everything in folders), and landscape mode wouldn't work with anything, and neither would the pull out keyboard. I've heard that Miui wasn't really written for a phone with a physical keyboard, hence the problem. I'll try it with my Incredible though. Pretty pumped about getting it!

Well...whatever happens I'll be ready. Getting pretty bored with my Droid so I picked up a Fascinate on Ebay this morning. It'll give me something to tinker with as I wait for some dual core monsters! Maybe the 4G Mecha will be a great phone...maybe there will be something better. Only thing I know for sure is that I need to keep my options (and upgrades) open

So you were finally able to *pull the trigger* eh? Well good for you! The Fascinate seems to be a very capable phone in its own right, and one that I also wanted... but they were going for about as much as the Xs were on eBay when I snatched my Incredible. Like you, I'm looking forward to 2011, especially Q2.

I would have taken a Fascinate, X, or incredible but I was looking for the best deal so I could get most if not all of my money back when I sell it sometime in 2011. I almost won an Incredible for cheap but settled for a used Fascinate (in excellent condition) for $270. The Droid X's seemed to all go for well over $300 and that just seemed like too much for a "temporary" device.
So, looks like the ever elusive HD is pushed back again...big shocker there! Not that it was ever really "announced" to begin with.

I really can't believe the lack of any news regarding this phone. If this phone's specs stay the same and it's not out until mid 2011 I'm going to be

I hate Motorola phones, always have, and Samsung is notorious for not supporting their devices (plus Bing-no thanks) I want this HTC to be the king of the hill and it's not looking like it's going to be. It's a shame because this thing could be VZW's best selling device RIGHT NOW! I'm perfectly happy with my Inc and I would go buy this tomorrow if I could!!!! I'm sure a lot of people would as well

Yeah, seems that HTC missed their window with this device. November...it would have killed. December...it would have done okay. January or later?...Fail! CES will bring all kinds of excitement and a single core snapdragon isn't going to seem "high end". I'm guessing it will release later in 2011 and come with a dual core cause if not...it might as well be a larger screen vortex. I'm still confused as to why this phone was delayed

The Fascinate can be de-binged. My first day with the Fascinate will include rooting, romming, and de-binging it!
But...I get what you are saying. Bing and 2.1 when it released and STILL doesn't have 2.2 available. What a joke! The Fascinate's cousin, Nexus S, has 2.3 already
Had to move on something cause I was bored with my Droid and now I'm not going to feel like I need to jump at the next great phone. Maybe the HD is still in my future...but it will need to have different specs if that is the case!

Thank you for saying this. Now I can add to this. My "contact" at VZW has mentioned a early release as well. However he was not positive enough for me to say. This just kinda confirms what I have been heating as well. He did not say anything about LTE.
