What features do you want on the Evo 2?

I'm so amped for CTIA. It's going to be alot of fun starting new threads about the next EVO. Too bad most of us EVO owners are not eligible for the upgrade. Thanks to that new policy lol. It all depends. If this next EVO blows everything away spec wise.....I'm willing to fork over the cash for the early upgrade lol.

Luckily for me, I have been available to upgrade for over a month now
I had used my upgrade and got my Hero, then used my mom's upgrade on Evo launch day to get that (and gave her the Hero), and now I'm eligible for my yearly upgrades since I'm the primary on our account. I plan to get the new top phone on the block on its launch day and hand off the trusty 'ole Evo to my mom so she can finally quit squinting to see that tiny Hero :p

Could this be the benchmark for the evo successor? Running 2.3.3 with a 960x540 res and dual core snapdragon!

Oooh...I hope they're able to keep the same exact form factor as the current EVO, so I can stil use all my current accessories. That would be ideal and would definitely make me think about upgrading. Dual core snapdragon processor?...Nice.

right I'm just mad I'm not due for an upgrade for 10 months. Looks like I'll be unrooting this one selling at rock bottom on ebay to recoup some of the cost of my new device when this drops.

And the Tegra-2 on the LG scored 25.2 - so it's safe to say "all in the neighborhood."

Benchmarks don't tell the whole story - this is promising to be one killer device. ;)

My main concern is if it's faster than my current EVO, especially after multiple apps have been downloaded, I'll be extremely happy. That said, I really do hope the EVO 2 will end up working in the current docks that I have and be able to use the current extra batteries I have. I can always sell those items with the phone, but that would be ideal not having to re-purchase new accessories.

I'm with you on that one. I bought so many accessories for the EVO. I hope this new EVO will be the same size. I wouldnt mind a bigger screen though.

Yay for buying my EVO on eBay :)

^^^ that is cool..

first android motorola on sprint... and the atrix would be interesting.
xoom too.

but still a rumor... and we all know how that goes.

Okay guys, I have a thought...

We all read the rumors about the next Nexus being a Motorola. We also all read about Motorola saying all of their future high end devices will have the docks and webtop. We also know that Sprint was pretty close to releasing a Nexus 1.

I think you know where I'm going...

What if Sprint doesn't announce the Nexus S next week, but instead announces that they will be carrying the Nexus M 4G? And it being a Nexus device, it has an unlocked bootloader and vanilla Android. And it comes bundled with the dock for $200 or so.

Now that would be something to get excited about.
