And the problem is I cant uninstall the vvm now. It works fine but is interfering with the the youtube app. Is there a way to uninstall the update.

Short of reinstalling the rom not to sure u can....I got u tube on mine ands not buggy at all...have u tried flashing the normal gapps file
Thats what Iam saying that I did install the gapps files when I installed the rom the first time. And they worked fine. What Iam asking is weather or not the nandriod backs those gapps in the system up if it doesnt I know I know I will have to install them again. I will flash them judt dont want be flashing them again and than they mightberase the vvm just the vvm erased them.
when u do a nandroid it takes a snap shot of what ever you cheack.. select the first three if you like you can back up your cache(this will just allow for a quicker boot up if your restore to this nandroid,, you can click wimax.. if you like i check it every time.. and the rest I never back up..... with the first three it will save any apps you have installed or not
the only thing that i can see is that the vvm gapps does not have the apk for car home and you tube. i compared it to other gapps files and i see car home but i do not see youtube. my suggestion is to first make a nandroid then restore and go to a nandroid(if you have one) that has both you tube and car home and backup with titanium backup. then restore your nandroid you just made and restore youtube and car home via tb.
i would just start over and wipe and then wipe some more then re-flash cm7.
it should save system data which is where your settings are in. just be careful especially if you are going to switch roms. different roms will not like the system data of another rom. it could create a lot of errors.
not sure why tb is doing that. you can try and clear cache for it. go into phone settings/applications/manage applications/clear cache. or you can try unistalling it then reinstalling it.
are trying to uninstall tb in manage applications. it should not be a system app.
well then i'm not sure because in my phone i can just unistall it by going to manage applications in phone settings and i can just uninstall it from there. maybe you can try root explorer or es file manager to delete it. then download tb again from the market.
try wiping cache and dalvik cache
wierd. your phone is just weird. lol
i was on cm7.0.2.1 and had no issues. right now i'm back to kings unleashed gb r3 and it is based on cm7.0.0
i after being on cm7 for a few weeks i loved it. but i went back to my nandroid of kings version of cm7, i realized just how more zippy the rom is compared to cm7. i love kings roms that are just so fast and smooth. yeah i have no idea what is going on with your youtube app and your issues with vvm and gps. maybe you should try kings rom.
