Yeah idk how to change it. you can ask the guy in that thread.

Also, is everyone aware they can download themes on the market? Just search CM7 theme. After they are installed they show up in the theme chooser. They should almost all work.
 
I'm on cyanbread (I like blue, I'm a boy). I gotta say. This thing's growing on me. I am curious as to what it really can do.
 
It appears Google Voice is working despite not being able to dial that number to set it up.

I received a Voicemail through GV and text messages seem to be working.

You can change the CDMA thing by using the Root Tools app that jrummy has in the market. I've used it and it works fine:

Yes I did...I wanted to see what all the hype over Cyanogenmod7 was about so I tried it. I can live with the GPS, camera and some video sites/apps not working for now, everything else easily makes up for it.
 
This thing has stellar battery life. It's been unplugged for 9 hours, with light-medium use and still 80% life. I'm on Moto's extended battery, but still that's crazy.

I don't think I'll ever turn back.
 
Been a little chicken to flash this, but if Steven's done it-then why not. Will the monster zip take me there even though I'm on Liberty? Or, do I have to use the TBH app to get back to 596 first?
 
you know after seeing people having gps issues, i had to wait til i got home to test mine, and it obviously isnt working, i tried searching the TBH app, but there is no Monster install. the last thing its showing for me that was added was the DX2 wallpapers

anyone got any suggestions?
 
This is MY first experience with cyanogen so I thought it might be helpful for all of us noobs to learn a thing or two about what we can do with it. Please share! BTW I love my phone again:D
 
One really neat thing I've discovered is that, in the notification panel, you can clear individual items by swiping them left or right. I was really missing the individual clear buttons, and this made me a very happy guy. (:
 
sbf'd .. back on 340. Couldn't do the gb p3 flash, so I"m going back to gb the loooong way. I like cyan. I just need the stability for the next few days. I have a nandroid of it and will go back later.
 
I like being able to download themes quickly and easily in the market. Just search "CM7 Theme" then select it in the theme chooser. Also the lockscreen shortcuts are handy. I'm still messing around with everything.

The installs are right under the wallpapers. They take you back to 596 only. They do not take you to cm4dx.

My question is do you have to be on 596 to flash cm or can you just flash over liberty or apex?

Depends. If you're using the tbh "monster" zip then it doesn't matter what room you're on. Froyo or gb. If you're using the official zip released by cvpcs them you must be on stock, rooted .340 froyo.

Yes monster will take you to CM from any ROM. At least that's what P3droid says
 
still not clear on how the monster file works, do i have to clear data/cache, or is it like the GB upgrade?
I'm sure there's a thread on this, does anyone know where?
