I downloaded and installed XperiaArc and GingerBlur.

From the theme chooser app ( already installed on the phone, part of the CM7 ROM ) I select XperiaArc and it worked fine. Update status bar, some icons and colors here and there, keyboard looks MUCH better.

When I went to apply GingerBlur, it said some assets were missing from the theme package. I could apply anyway or abort, I skipped it.

I downloaded them all. If assets are missing, install anyway. It works (it's in the thread). I still prefer the Cyanbread.
 
I followed the directions. 2nd I installed monster, it asks me a initial *228 type thing. When I connect to vzw, there's no phone keypad and I can't hit 1 to get initial activation.. Anyone else have this problem?

I think I've read where you have to hold down the menu key or something to access the dialpad initially.

Keyboard actually. I know it's a minute detail but my OCD got the best of me.

lol steven has a defective X :p mine has been great since last night, i dunno how i was messing with it, then i woke up my light was still on, and i was laying on my phone... it was strange, like my phone knocked my butt out. i dont even remember the last thing i was doing lol, but i feel asleep fast!
 
Steven mine did the same thing as yours....you actually dont have to press 1 or anything just dial *228 and let it sit it will by default program the phone after like 30 seconds

I think there are video codec issues. Streaming media from youtube and netflix still broke. However, as mentioned before, moboplayer works for some things.
 
Anybody else notice how much more available RAM you have? With similar apps/widgets, I have about 140 more MB (at 270 free right now) than .596.
 
I got some green circle icons done for this using the uot kitchen, there is a post on this forum with the .zip for those who'd like to use it.

Battery seems to not be good on CM7 beta. Woke up and dropped 30% while idle. Noticed no battery saver function like in blur.

however, i did mess with the LED notification settings and the LEDs appeared to be on consistently from whenever I got the email until I checked. so maybe that has to do with it.
 
Man, the lockscreen here is so amazing. Don't even need widgetlocker. Why do the makers mess up what CM7 does so well? So responsive and the gestures are really cool.
 
Settings, lockscreen, lockscreen gestures.

You can draw gestures as shortcuts to certain tasks, like direct dialing a contact or opening an app.
