Root [ROM] CyanogenMod 7 for the LG Optimus M MS690

PG, somewhere you mentioned you have a mms fix (metroff or something like that) on your wiki. I was looking for it, but couldn't find it. Can you point me in the right direction.

You can use reppards also. But are you specifically looking for his?

And you made the switch to this one? ;)

Reppards is an over clock kernel. No, I haven't switched over to this one yet, I'm still using Bob's GB ROM. I want a working camera. If and when this one gets a working camera, or if both versions become merged into one, I'll switch.

Your talking about the mms fix right?
I never mentioned an over clocked kernel here..

I understand you didn't mention over clock, but reppards kernel is an over clock kernel and nothing to do with mms. I've read that reppards does help with wi-fi.

I know I was saying you can also use reppards MMS fix...
Never said anything about a kernel...

NP...I'm currently dabbling in some .jar files trying to find that freaking screen lag...so far no dice, no quarter, and a mild headache. Lol

The first time you manually enter recovery toggle both asserts and.signatures off. Then you should have no problems with RM after that
all my stuff is signed n will pass those anyhow, but flashing other stuff it would be handy ;)

I've never had an issue with asserts and signatures tho. But I tend not to flash things not meant for the phone or be compatible with most phones. ;)

How's your signal...you're gonna need 3-5 bars for mms. I found that out the hard way...lol

Well it worked. It took a long time (5 or 6 min for me to send a picture to my wife and for her to send me a picture).

So, I have a functional (if not quick) mms, wi-fi, and the Metro banner. I also have operating a2sd thanks to the Dark Tremor scripts and over clock thanks to reppards kernel.

I like it very much and look forward to future updates.

In my excitement I forgot to mention one of CWM best features: TOGGLE SCRIPT ASSERTS!!!

just select that option to disable the recoverys hunt for an edify script and now you can flash both the ROCK kernel and MMS patch!!! :D:D

I'm an Idiot sometimes....sorry people.

kind of a noob question but how do I Toggle Script Asserts?

Got my own custom oc'd kernel (still more I want to do with ;)) compiled along with it wifi module. Now on to fix the camera. ;)
