Root [ROM] CyanogenMod 7 for the LG Optimus M MS690

Ok well I flashed it, even though the screen animations in cyanogenmod settings are unchecked I can still see them happening when I lock my phone or turn the screen on. And it seems a little buggy like when I toggle a checkmark it will show that I did but when I leave the menu it goes back to what it was.
k will check that out

I was just about to post on this too lol yeah the screen off animation is still happening even though it's turned off and the screen on lag on my phone is bad can someone tell me how to fix this? inb4 live wallpaper (haven't tried it yet but the lag wasn't this bad without one on reppards build)

EDIT: just seen that PG is on top of this so... nevermind i'm sure he'll fix it

fix atm is to turn screen on/off animations, surface dithering off, and reppards use of a live wallpaper seem to help too.

I press n hold the power button and mine comes back on almost instantly, power menu does as well, but press back n back to home screen we are.

Having a screen off profile set in a cpu speed control app will increase the lag, seems like the cpu apps like to change profile before the screen can light up causing the whole process to slow.

Why would that matter when the display on/off animations are in cyanogenmod settings...?

And no I didnt
I was having the same issues for awhile, I attributed them to restored data in TiBu, I could be wrong but I reinstalled my rom and stopped it from loading any data other than a few specific apps and it stopped happening...

you can't restore cyanogenmid settings with tibu...

oh ya btw ive been reading about the clockwork mod recovery.heres my question do i have to use that or can i still use joneidy's recovery??????

LOL. I wasn't trying to restore system data. It was something that migtated over using the restore missing apps with data, option not the restore missing apps with system data. I think it thinks settings is an app or something...

H'm that will fix my issue you think?

If you used tibu you should try a fresh flash and really pick thru the apps u wanna restore. I had the same issue as you and I think that's what fixed it for me...*SHRUGS*

how do i get the phone to connect to a pc so i can transfer app and stuff like that?or do i have to remove the sdcard when i want to do something like i mentioned
