you mean like can be done with some with Android Overclock etc? Kernel would have to be compiled to work with the modules those apps use, if thats possible. I know with Android OC on my OV it tells me the phone isnt on the supported phone list. Will look into it tho.

If one of us gets the camera working and gets the fix to the rest of us, maybe later today or tomorrow. ;)

Camera works in my build

yea I love the crt off on my DX. Mines doesnt seem as bad, that or I got the hang of the lil tricks to get it back on lol.
 
Yeah...you'll have to still switch to CWM to use PlayfulGod's build as far as I know. CWM is a nice recovery and I am able to flash most mods of the internet without having to re-sign them.

ughh, Im having problems with CWM, the tutorial playfulgod posted is straight forward but i got stuck at the part where it says to go in that path and rename the file, that path/files doesnt exist on my phone for some reason =/
 
Do this....flash the recovery from RM.
After that install playfulgods recovery through terminal or adb. Don't reboot into recovery till both steps are complete. That's a shortcut for ya :)
 
Yea I broke the link be the screen fix didnt fix but made the screen all funky on the OM, so I reverted that fix.

Link fixed now, bootsound should work now, added a couple of themes.
 
I know I've been away a few days thanks to a new job I've obtained. But I gotta say....GREAT JOB PLAYFULGOD!!! Thank you so much for this amazing update. I wish I didn't have to wait till Saturday to flash this but I'm starting from scratch and hopefully with a class 8 SD!!!
 
Ok well I flashed it, even though the screen animations in cyanogenmod settings are unchecked I can still see them happening when I lock my phone or turn the screen on. And it seems a little buggy like when I toggle a checkmark it will show that I did but when I leave the menu it goes back to what it was.
