Personally, I am hating the name Galaxy Nexus.
Yawn......... Being invited to spend money is always........ well........yawn.
Lets hope its not like the last music thing that invited folks to subscribe.

Those of you complaining about the fact that it is the Galaxy Nexus and not the Nexus Prime... Does it really matter? I personally would buy a phone called the Nexus Steaming Pile if it was as awesome as this phone is sounding.

Galaxy S should remain Galaxy S 1 - 2 - 3 and the Nexus should keep being Nexus (add rest here).
First time poster long time reader here.
Now, here is to someone else not like the Galaxy Nexus name. Feels like two phone being pressed together. For months we've been hearing Prime, and damn does that sound right.
Guy 1 : Whats that phone you got?
Guy 2 : Galaxy Nexus
Guy 1 : The Galaxy or the Nexus? is that kind of like iPhone?
Guy 2 : No, its the Galaxy Nexus.
Guy 1 : Oh, the Galaxy or the Nexus?
Guy 2 :
I feel that Google should keep going in the simply Nexus ______ path. Everyday i get people asking me what my phone is and im like, Galaxy S. Most of the time, people are like : Thats like an iPhone. I have to answer, No, this is Android etc etc. People are only starting to recognize the Galaxy brand and the Nexus brand
From a marketing point of view, from what i feel, both "franchises" should remain seperate and shouldn't be sleeping with each other. Galaxy S should remain Galaxy S 1 - 2 - 3 and the Nexus should keep being Nexus (add rest here).
Galaxy Nexus just seems so dirty and smushed.
My 2 cents.
Im still buying it
They should call it the Nexus 4s
On the other hand, It is the offspring of two great phones.
I like the name Dairy King. Because this device sure is being milk to the end. Plus it will have ICS and thats a dairy product. They should call it the Nexus 4s
so are we still buying the story about 4 things being wrong with the bgr specs?
they're looking pretty spot on to me
1. bigger battery
2. clock speed is 1.5 instead of 1.2
what else??
maybe it's my lack of sleep, but i thought it was "confirmed" by steve's inside source that it'd be 1.2?
Disagree, the 1st Galaxy S was to be avoided, IMO. Fatal problems with hardware and software, and being locked into Bing. I personally know of 3 people that defected to iPhone because they had so many problems with their Galaxy S that they were convinced that all of Android was flawed. If that's the way the 3rd Nexus is going to be, I'll be tapping away on the HTC Vigor.
His source confirmed a omap 4460 @ 1.5

They could call it the "Driod steaming pile of crap 4G LTE by Samsung for Google on Verizon" for all I care.
I just want it to perform.

The OP page (First post is the rumored specs), and said to be a 100% correct. But I am still counting on some of the info not be correct. Who knowsHis source confirmed a omap 4460 @ 1.5
I don't think they will call it that...name is too long.![]()
