when arrive the first leaks of the GSM-Version?

yeah the GT-I9250 went through the FCC, but nothing really important, though it's not ready to work with the european frequencies (?! strange for a world-phone, isn't it?)

but maybe the FCC just tested the US-typical frequencies, so i still hope to get full LTE-support for the european (or for me: german) LTE-frequencies :)

the next nexus (sound funny, right? :D) is supposed to set new standarts for the upcoming phones... LTE is definitely one of those!


Ps: Hope the GSM-Version comes with either the exynos 4212 or the OMAP 4470 (which i kinda like more right now, don't know why)...

[just to keep the Processor-comments at a rate of at least 10%... 71% is impossible for me :D]

Guessing though that Droid was outta the question as soon as Google picked it as the Nexus. I have a feeling though that RAZR and some OMAP version of Vigor were in the running for Nexus also and that VZW has had some exclusive on Nexus and ICS for the USA all along. If'n I developed a device in a competition to get googles latest, but lost I would probably go ahead with the device if I thought it would be competitive even without ICS.

I think you may be on the right track, since the first rumored name that I heard was Driod Prime, but we will probably never know unless there is a Samsung exec lurking and salivating for the right time to post.

Should I report a quoted version of a quote that offends? Is that like the enemy of an enemy is really my friend? Or the girl my wife likes is ok for me?

FWIW, good advice, CK, but I think that when mods delete the offending post, it turns up as "post deleted by mod" automatically in everyone's response.

Correct me if I'm wrong, though. Just my guess.
 
Does anyone know whether the RAZR will have ICS?

I know it's being announced before the GalNexusaurus, but it will probably be releasing after it. Is there a reason why they'd take one step forward and then another step back?

I really hope you're wrong. Updates from Google is one of my main draws to the G-Nex. Otherwise, it shouldn't even be called a Nexus. The OG Droid was stock, too, and it wasn't a Nexus device (then again, there weren't ANY nexus devices at that time, but still...).

my guess it wont i think np may be the only phone launching with ics? all the other phones specs i have seen that will be releasing later this year all have gingerbread or am i wrong there?

It won't have ICS at launch, but it supposed to get it.

Not sure it will definitely be after even. Vigor was always rumored to be the first of these three. Nexus has been pegged at 11/3 for a LONG time from some sources. RAZR has never had a firm date, but if it's the same device as the Droid HD as it seems it is, it has been known of for a LONG time from some leaked pictures it took back in June or July. At this point I think a lot of normal VZW device release behavior can be thrown out the window and it's possible some of these could hit on the exact same day or be moved before devices you would think they would come after with the rumored in-fighting between all involved.

Idk maybe that's some of the actual reason for the disdain. When GoogSam held up the Gnex it may have caused a disruption in the force. Release dates and specs of other phones (and related advertising already purchased?) may have required some realigning to keep all the ducks in a row timeline-wise. Total speculation.
 
I've been following this thread closely and hadn't seen this yet, but it further bolsters the claims that this will NOT be a Best Buy exclusive:

No, someone has to go through each post, made decisions, make edits, and not screw up the flow of the rest of the discussion.

It's completely manual.

Let's please move on and have no more talk of it or what prompted this.

So from what I'm reading in the last 24 hr's we not only don't know anything more then we two weeks ago and vzw may not even get this critter now. Right.

I want to remind us all about staying "on or close" to topic. Today, for some reason, we went far afield and I want to thank OTD for stepping in and fielding that ball. :)

I appeal to you guys to keep in the same spirit as the other 8500 + posts we've made. You've been literally GREAT, easy going, mature, funny and self-moderating. Let's continue keep it "on or close" as we agreed to and as Phases mentioned in the OP.

We're going to get more info. that way, and we'll also have more fun! :) :)
