would most people on vzw be ok with an galaxy s2 device or are they all in on an nexus device ?
I would be ok with a gs2 LTE device(celox) but since that isn't an option I'm all in on nexus

this reminds me of another question...
do the buttons disappear whenever you rotate the NP/GN into landscape-mode?
-> are the buttons only visible in portrait mode?
This right here is VERY important and well said. I will also add this is the very reason I do NOT think we will see a "real" Nexus device on our network. AT&T, T-Mo etc etc will get the actual Nexus device and Verizon will get a watered down version of it. No NFC, maybe vanilla Android, Verizon bloat. I believe it's called the Galaxy Nexus for a reason. It's not the real Nexus.
Another reason it won't be a Nexus is because of what g_patrick posted above. Updates coming straight from Google........when hell freezes over.
Verizon kneels at the feet of Apple and bows to their every whim but in regards to their Android partners, they clearly write the rules.
If that happens then I may just leave.VZW for another carrier. I do want a true Nexus device.
If VZW does rape this project/phone I think everyone who wanted a Nexus needs to bombard VZW with emails and calls of disappointment.
If enough of us do (meaning all of us) do this maybe the will finally get the message that we are tired of being bent over.

Not many people are willing to actually leave (for a plethora of reasons). Why would Vzw care about your emails and calls if you stay with them?
Supply and demand, open market, competition. all big enterprizes forget about because they merge aka buy out competitors to make a monopoll or limited the competition so they can rule the market and not the market them.

Not sure what you're trying to say...![]()
1. If as we heared there isnt a sd slot on the phone, does google-samsung have a solution for the backup-store lets say it problem, and if yes will it be free or will be there some kind of charge. (a nicely made rip of the customers).
2. Ics will be open source or will google keep the code for it self and his marieg with motorola, so he provide a phone but her self with a 3rd party involving on it as she dont till now with the other 3 phones. (hard to ask that and even harder to get an answer for this)
3. Did you use Samoled and not plus because of the power problemm with the battery life on a smartphone with technology of displays?
Some questions I could think I would ask

They force you to buy theyr products mate without having a big alternative solution.
+1
I was talking about this last night. I really don't want to leave Verizon, but my interest in a true Nexus device is beginning to outweigh my loyalty as a customer.
I'm just sayin', Verizon, customers will only take what's forced upon them for so long. Then they start weighing their options...
A. If hundreds if not thousands do it they will have to at least respond if not cave next time.
B. If they do not respond or cave then I will not stay.
If people start to not upgrade so that they become month to month that is the first step. I know a lot can't or won't leave but you might be surprised how many can and will.
You or others may be okay just taking what scraps they throw us but I and many others aren't. The only wat VZW will change us with pressure.
I am not calling for a mass abandonment of VZW I am simply saying that if we don't get what we want WE all need to complain.
Companies will and do listen if enough voices are heard. That is how things get done in America. Those which opt to just roll with it or say " why would they listen" help things not.to change.

P.S. But then you all live in USA the country of capitalism. You think you are free to have you opinion, but you are not. But thats a thema for a different forum ! Cheers

I am in wi fi range 90% of the time also. And as I mentioned before it.would be $10 cheaper a month to switch to T-Mobile with 10gb of data which to me is pretty much unlimitedYou are absolutely right. That's preciously why I'm on a month to month at the moment. I did the same thing on AT&T waiting for them to get good alternatives to the iPhone and left when the didn't. "Unlimited data" is the only thing keeping me on Vzw but I have wifi at home and at work and am prepared to leave at any time.
Problem is that many people will stay and Vzw knows it.
What? That's not true. If your unsatisfied with their services, there are plenty of carriers, small and large, for them to go to as alternatives.
Ive been away from this thread for a day or two .. Which probably means I've missed a few thousand posts.
Has it been confirmed that the Verizon version is to be the only one with LTE?
No company has ever forced you to buy anything. Not once. At least not in the US, which you seem to think is a place where coorporations rule the world and control everything.
