qHD nonPentile vs 720p Pentile is going to be CLOSE if you ask me. Add in the size of screen diff and I am guessing sharpness will be about exactly the same and near perfectly sharp for most of us. LCD vs AMOLED is not a huge deal for me, but I do prefer AMOLED a tiny bit.
It's 7:06 am in Hong Kong. Should we wake Rob up and tell him we would like some new information?
I trust Samsung to make good stuff. I have a couple of Samsung TV's, I have a Samsung made Verizon Network Extender and I have a Samsung Solid State Drive in my laptop. Plus they probably have components in things in my house that I don't even know about. Tomorrow is a big deal. It's Samsung and Googles time to mount a comeback against the Iphone. Let the games begin.
I agree both screen will be close in terms of sharpness. But still 720p is higher resolution than qHD 540p regardless of pixel structure. So Nexus will have more screen resolution space for softwares.
Still no response to kbman's claim on the howardforums about our galaxaroraus getting delayed posted by Jason above?
Another reminder of why I will be so happy to get rid of my crappy iPhone 4 and jump on the android bandwagon when this nexus comes out!! woot!. Who in the hell thought an all glass phone would be a good idea??? wtf. btw, a case is not the answer. I hate cases. No point in getting a cool phone if you have to hide it in an ugly bulky case.
On another note... this article just revived my excitement for the nexus prime, no matter what processor is inside (still bummed about no sd slot though).

Why would Verizon schedule a huge announcement tomorrow about the RAZR when the world is going to be watching the Nexus/Samsung/Google event?
Could it be because they are not going to carry it and they want to soften the blow this news will bring? "Hey don't worry about the Prime! We have the Droid RAZR and it's going to be awesome"
Could it be because they want to launch 2 huge phones simultaneously and garner all the attention they can get? (That wouldn't make either Samsung or Moto very happy)
Still no FCC and a huge event scheduled for their Droid RAZR on the same day the Nexus is unveiled to the world.
Weird? or is it just me?

I may be wrong on this, but didn't Verizon and Motorola schedule this before Samsung and Google rescheduled the unpacked event?

I'm summarily rejecting any rumors of a launch delay. My Droid and poor feeble mind just couldn't take the strain at this point in the game. A delay would be, at best, manically depressing. Nexus cancellation? Been discussed. Ain't happening. Too late to stop that train.

I'm sort of struggling with them announcing it at all to be perfectly honest. The Nexus will be announced but I'm starting to think Verizon may not get this thing.do we think that they will announce a verizon version of the galaxy nexus in hong kong? wouldn't that be kind of strange?![]()
