I completely agree.

And if it doesnt have the wrap to text when zooming feature do you think that Sense roms will come out for this phone?

I love sense but am thinking about picking this up instead of the Vigor. If a couple little things can be done with this then its a no brainer.

But the wrap to text is important to me as I couldn't stand the way the Bionic handled zooming.[/QUOTE

Don't any of the 3rd party browsers support this?

What he said. No other keyboard comes close. I've used them all. I was hooked on Swype until they played too many games. Made the switch and haven't looked back. The more you use it the better it gets.

Is swiftkey gesture based like Swype? Or do I have to tap like an idiot?

Nice! That seals it for me. I won't be playing games on it, but I'll be watching movies and HD shows on it.

Now, does anyone know if a simple micro-USB to HDMI adapter cable will work, to mirror netflix to my big screen?

I'm not hopeful on this thing having MHL, since I haven't heard anything about it yet.

The USB to HDMI adapter cable (as most people imagine it) is a myth.

What's used is an adapter with a micro UBS coming out of one side (goes into phone), and two ports: one, a full-sized HDMI port (use a normal HDMI male-male cable with it) and the other _is_ microUSB ---> the adapter needs a micro-USB power source.

That's the only kind I've seen work for anyone trying them - despite the Samsung parts dealer in the UK insisting that they're selling such a simple USB/HDMI cable. (They did at one time, I've not checked back, gave up on them as whacked or something - sorry.)

I could be wrong - but pretty much don't think that I am here.

I also think that, when you look at this latest OS release, Android has been much more innovative and aggressive than iOS.

This is a cool graphic from DL that shows how much each has progressed:

And is it me, or does iOS look totally cartoonish now? It's like Looney Tunes in there.

you didnt talk to the right person. i know now exactly the same situation as yours, but last month my wifes Dinc finally started going bananas. wouldnt make calls, recieve texts or emails or do anything a phone should do really. after spending about 3 hours with technical support, and getting transfered to "teir 2" tech support, i finally got a lady who gave her a free upgrade(didnt even have to use our available upgrade) to a Dinc2 and sent her an extended battery for free, so it can be done if you reach the right people.

I might have to give them a call again tonight. If they sent me a DINC2 to replace it I wouldn't mind at all, that would certainly get me through until I could get my upgrade. I'm just tired of having to crush my finger to get this damn thing on...

I know this isn't the right place for a random "chances of getting an early phone swap post"

BUT

Would you guys suggest going to VZW and proving that my phone hardware is a POS or trying to call them again until they're so butthurt with me that they give in?

This swype/t9/swiftkey talk has got me thinking....

I'm probably in the vast minority, but I use the OG's physical keyboard just about as often as the virtual keyboard. I'm not sure how I'm going to adjust to no longer being able to touch type...
