And let's the Android enthusiasts and developers snatch up a great nexus device on the largest carrier. I get chills thinking about the dev support this phone will have.
It would be nice if all the people that wanted vanilla ics android could get it at the same time![]()
Galaxy Nexus sign up page now live on Samsung’s site, includes seven US carriers | Android and Me
Hope that means everyone gets to have it![]()

As an fyi Verizon was listed as a carrier for the Nexus 1 i dont know what ever happened to that one though ;p
I agree 100%. I wish this was a multi carrier launch. Exclusivity hurts the consumer. Especially when we want the most devs possible.
Ok guys, we need to start bombarding VZW with frequent and public requests for information. I suggest posting and commenting on their Facebook page. I just did it, I recommend you all do it as well.

No foul language or anything like that, just call them out on what they're doing to our poor cereal killer.
i certainly hope that's the case, but i do have a question (and not meant rhetorically or in jest): do you (all members) think that the dev'r community is going to continue modding/rom'ing/oc'ing/etc to the degree they have been?? at least initially, it seemed that modding devices was because there was so much bloat, and the phones were in need of (and capable of) greater speeds. however, we're now getting devices that are blazing fast out of the box, have tons of ram that isn't being bogged down by bloat, the OS is already including tweaks and features that were being added by dev'rs, etc. maybe i'm just too narrow/restricted in my thinking...??
I wouldnt mind an one week window like sprint got for their galaxy s2 , not an 6 month window, which it looks like vzw is going to be getting :-(.
CK's doing it to himself.

6 months!?!?!?
No way, I guess I'll get another phone.![]()

Well thats around how long it was if i recall between tmobile nexus dropping and the att version that dropped in julyish ? my dates could be an bit jumbled
not an 6 month window, which it looks like vzw is going to be getting :-(.
And just what makes you say that???
Don't worry folks, Verizon will have this phone starting next month.
Oh, well hope it doesn't take that long. Theres no Verizon here and I would hate to miss out on it.
