You are remembering Early's posts that he is overclocking his Snapdragon S3 to 1.5 from 1.2 on a 1750mAh battery - and he is getting good battery life. And he is running Sense 3. And you are imagining surprise and delight when the kernel gets a little tweaking so you can do this with your phone. And you're going to rely on an overclock daemon setting rather than SetCPU, because early on, SetCPU is going to aggressively keep your phone too awake. And you are going to be happy... happy... h a p p y...

Not sure what control VZW has over the now SIMed devices LTE has put them with??? But if they have any control over making such things impossible, THEY WILL!!
 
There's a sense of impending doom. I figured something was up. Whether its 4G issues or not is irrelevant. There's a problem.

I don't think people realize this is not something out of the ordinary. Happens all the time.
 
i mean guys COME ON..... a few days ago everyone got all worked up over the supposed vzw and google arm wrestling match over google wallet/isis being in the phone, now they are supposedly going at it over connectivity issues. smart money is on there is no hold up, but the rescheduling of the google event clashed with verizons original plans of unveiling the nexus then a week later the razr. we all know verizon is wonky, so just let some time pass and they will be announcing they are the carrier before you know it. just chill and exercise some patience(yea right) hahaha

Yep and can make already heightened tensions and emotions over a HUGE device release even WORSE I am sure.

This is an actual 100% Google phone ON VZW! Seems like the definition of a high emotion release as they are about as opposite of companies in the tech world as what exists.

Well I see the "its not coming to verizon crowd have been busy the past few hours." Can't stick around, my wife deserves a little of my attention tonight, she got none last night. But to recap, we have screen shots from Samsung promo video with Verizon, the dolly rig with a Verizon lte logo, a USA lte version of a phone that will only be sold where there is market demand ie an actual lte network, a Facebook post from Samsung, a post by android market, multiple sources, testers, etc. All confirming Verizon. We have galaxy nexus in cellebrite for Verizon, and equivalent in two retail stores. And yet people are still doubting? Come on people.

I look at other carriers and nothing floats my boat. AT&T? Next.
TMobile. Yeah, I want to be throttled after reading a few webpages, and before I know it, I'm on AT&T after the merger.

That leaves Sprint. The company that still hasn't made a profit, and operates that ridiculous WiMax network which is spottier than heck. Building penetration is nil. I'd save a few dollars, but at what cost?

Yeah, so I'm back to Verizon. And Verizon knows they hold all the cards, damn them.

Yeah, like we are the ones to confirm it. Two days ago we were certain it had 1.5GHz processor and 8MP camera with 2050mAH battery.

But again, this is all from P3's tweet. BMX refuted that assertion. So which of the rumors would you like to believe today?
 
Look IT IS COMING TO VZW!!!!!!!! I have a connection, I can't say his name but he graduated from Hogwarts with honors. Currently he works for MI6 and is unercover at VZW.

Point is as ridiculous as my post sounds, to me that is how these "It's not coming to Verizon" articles and posts sound to me. I am 99.999999% sure it is coming.

Borderline???? Sorry if anyone already posted this, but I saw somewhere that GNex isn't coming to Verizon. I'm pretty sure it's not coming to Verizon. In Fact, a guy a know down the road talked to a guy at the gas station that said this isn't coming to verizon. .....wait for it..... so is this coming out on verizon?
 
To all the doubting Thomas's out there I say this, If they released the Thunderbolt with all its MAJOR issues after A TON of delays then I feel confident the Gary Gnu Gnexus is coming.
 
I was so hyped for the nexus prime. I love everything about it except the processor. I don't even know which carrier it'll be for but I'm really curious.

I honestly love to game. Sadly for some reason I like mobile games and even stay away from my PS3. I just love having stuff in my hands or right near me on the move. This is the part which comes to play.

How far off is the processor in the nexus prime compared to GSII? Is it that bad? (I saw a comparison gpu benchmark site with bunch of star ratings and nexus were always one or two stars while iphone 4s and GSII had 3-5 stars)

I know that there aren't really any high end or taking it to the limit games out for the android nor iphone really but some games tend to lagg or crash due to some of the hardware. For example give the iPod Touch, due to it's low ram most games meant for iphones crash or barely runs on the touch because of lagg.

A game I'm really looking forward to is MC3 and heres some screens and video of the game

Pretty impressive for a mobile device.

Now I obviously do use my current iphone 3 (I really want an android and to be honest iOS sucks because of so much limitations, even jailbroken no widgets like in android will be ever shown to iOS) for a lot of calling and texting during work but I like to play as well.

Also how does the t-mobile version of GSII compare to others? I'm in canada and looking forward to Telus because their plans are just deal breakers. However their getting the T-mobile hercules version which to be honest looks really bulky. Also the processor is slow right? and the GPU? How bad does it compare to the nexus and GSII as well?

Sorry guys, I just really want to get this straighten out to either go nexus or GSII (t-mobile variant for canada)
