I wouldn't do that quite yet. We have no idea. Some are saying 3rd, others the 10th, some the 17th, and others (not here) until after Black Friday.

It's all up in the air.

Thanks, Tmo does have a great selection, but after having the N1 for last 20 months and trying to update my wife's MyTouch Slide, as well as help other friends with their non stock android phones, the other UI's drive me crazy, everything just seems like it 's made harder then it has to be. hence, I can't get fired up about a non nexus phone. If something came out right now that was just a monster compared to Nexus, I might consider it, but that's not happening. So I'm just sitting back crossing my fingers for a Tmo subsidized nexus before 2012...can't wait much longer than that...my N1 is on it's last leg. It's been a great phone, but being in my pocket through two baseball seasons has taken it's toll. lol

Nope. A lot of reports indicate 11/10, which is my gut feeling, but BMX expressed this morning that he keeps giving out a date and no one listens to him. His info is 11/3, and he has a lot of credibility.

I think 11/17 is possible, but highly unlikely. Don't worry. :)
 
The first rumored release was first 11/17 from Best Buy leak back in early Sept. Then 10/27 shortly after announcement on CTIA unpack event. Then 11/03~11/10 after Razr showing up on verizon. Seems like it's gradually pushed back toward where it started first 11/17.

Yeah, my gorilla-glass'd OG Droid never got a scratch...but one day I randomly pulled it out of my pocket and the screen was cracked from top to bottom. Still haven't figured out how that happened, but I'm sure desperate for the G-Nex because it's amazing how handicapping a broken screen can be...

All i can say is good luck, i was actually contemplating getting an nexus s , so i could at least get ics, my carrier doesnt seem like it will have any ics devices in the forseeable future maybe next spring i will have to wait till

maybe they want to keep on pushing back the gn so they can properly mass market the razr and rezound first ?

Interesting thought. And now with the Re-crappy-name being announced on the 3rd, it will probably release on the 10th. Where that leaves the SGN, I have no idea.

Hoping they release the razor on the 27th, SGN on the 3rd, and the Re-crap on the 10th.

Probably wishful thinking, though.

it seems to me vzn doesnt even really want the galaxy nexus that badly, and if thats the case they should just waive the exclusivity, so the rest of us can get the phone too :)

No matter what, November is going to be the best month to be on Verizon EVER.

I've had people handle my phone and comment that I should put a screen protector on it. I've told them I'll think about it. :D

+1 on the Steinheil Crystal Clear protectors.
After almost two yeas on my original OG (have a replacement now) I used them. You do forget about them. I only had to replace one because I had it in my front pocket with keys while belly crawling in the brush and the keys damaged the SP. It looked real bad. I pulled it off and the GG was undamaged.
I know the Gorilla Glass is supposed to hold up to this but for my time & money I'm not going to test it.
I tend to get into some situations that go beyond normal everyday usage.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that we aren't going to be given a date. We are going to open the verizon page one day and see that the phone is available.

I'm all for it - I want to beam with other people and I don't know ONE other person in my area that wants or plans on getting this phone. :(

at least you will be able to use your phone to pay for tolls on NJTP ? I thought i read earlier about that i think?

I received a text from one of my sources who is doing her training on Android 4.0 at VZ today and she told me that the date on her computer screen for the Nexus changed from Nov. 10th to Nov. 17th, not official yet but a change in the release dates at VZ non the less.

P.S. she also stated that the release date for the Razor is now Nov. 7th, but then who here really cares about that!
