Normally I'd agree with you, but when the carrier has an exclusivity deal, surely Google/Sammy have some input. They're not going to allow their broader U.S. release be steamrolled by the whims of a carrier.

This thread is way too on topic (for the better) to even reach the number of posts in the dinc thread. That thread was a train wreck at times with childish fighting, etc. Mods had their hands full with that one. We probably have about the same amount of on topic posts though.

Is it November yet? I want this phone already! My OG Droid has been missing text messages lately. Then my friends call me and are like "WTF why don't you answer my texts" and I go "What text.... FML when am I getting my Nexus" lol
Well folks, considering that we STILL haven't seen our beloved Gnex hit FCC, I think we can pretty much write off November 3rd as a release date. Pre-order? Maybe. Release? They would have to jet this thing through FCC to make that date
