And the snow is now coming down in DC. Crazy. Thankfully it's not like a couple years ago when we got 20+" and the city basically shut down. Lots of beer, Bagel Bites and a $250 parking ticket, we managed to live through it. Happy to have summer finally end though :)

Waiting.....waiting......rumors......waiting......waiting......turn the clock back next week......waiting an extra hour......november will never end,and it hasnt even started yet.

Jealous of all that awesome white powder. Wish it was snowing here now.

It's a bit of a gimmick but I'm using it!

I don't know if anyone has seen this, but since Duarte's exhibition of the face unlock feature failed, I thought I would give this a look. I actually didn't think I would care for the feature, but this demonstration impressed me. Not saying I'll use it consistently, but I think it will be a cool feature (at least for showing off to people who would rather talk with their phone than enjoy a liberating OS....)

To all in NJ (meaning, 80% of the posters on this forum), is snow this early a usual occurrence?

I'm used to harsh winters in Chicago, but it's surprisingly a sunny, crisp, nice Autumn Saturday here.

We have had snowy Halloween before I think they said this winter will be worse than last year, which was one of the worst Winters snowfall wise ever. This one i think is bad due to leaves still on trees when snow on trees turn to ice

Yeah, I'm watching the ND/Navy game now and it looks gorgeous there. And as to the frequency of snow this early on the East coast, the weatherman this morning said the last time it snowed in DC in October was (about) 1978

Snowy Halloweens were not a rare occurrence in the late 80s early 90s.

We had a lot more snow back then in general, as I remember building tunnels in my parents front yard as a kid. It's as if the snow took a break for a decade or more.

Does anyone post often on the other threads in this forum? I just did it a few times and it felt like I was stepping outside on a cold day in my boxers.

Droid X forum is just as nice IMO. Of course, a lot of the heavy hitters from that forum are in this one too ;)

While losing power and falling trees is not good, I can't say I'm not jealous. Here is the view out my back window:

This is the way it looks 95% of the time. We get so excited about weather we turn off all media and pull up chairs to watch. No joke!
