That's exactly the impression I've been getting.I suspect they contracted onto this puppy BEFORE they realized they couldn't lock or bloat it. Now they're having...buyer's remorse![]()

Wow, all of this pessimism in here is depressing! Lets keep things a little bit cheerier by remembering that it IS coming to Verizon by the end of the year and it WILL be the first phone with ICS.
Your missing my point. >>> Why would Verizon piss off Google for one????Verizon not getting the nexus would not hurt them that much. They have been doing fine without it for awhile now and plus how do you know verizon won't get the sgs3 that they can bloat up? If verizon wanted to release it so bad then why all these rumors that the dates keep changing for phones that they can bloat up?
disable = old school.Not uninstall, disable.

unistall = new rule.![]()
Map chart ≠ confirmed release dateDon't forget we also have that map chart showing an 11/10 date for the nexus.

I did not say they wanted to release it so bad, which has nothing to do with it anyway.

With verizon saying that it could end up being the last day of the year![]()

Verizons whole existence is based on the same as any other company, to make as much money as possible. The Nexus is going to make them money. Will the string us along a little to play on our emotions? Yes. Will they release two other phones with more money making opportunities for them beforehand to try and pick off the weak? Yes. But in the end, they will release this phone, and they will do whats necessary to make the most money.
It's still going to be the best phone on the market at years end, so it shouldn't make a huge difference unless your phone has a cracked screen or something![]()
I don't want buyer's remorse, I just want them to step up to the plate like they did with the OG Droid and give out reliable information on the release and pricing. Maybe they are going to sell it soooo cheap that it will kill the fruit phone...
Interesting thought and a big dream. SGN for only $199 and under contract only $49.99. Ah the power of dreams!!!
Idk yes it is a nexus but i still think the sgs2 is a better phone bloat, touchwiz and all. JMO

Exynos and SAMOLED+?
The thing is they make more money off the plans anyway so why not launch the 3 phones same time and try and lure in more customers? The longer they wait at&t is rolling out their lte and getting 2 devices next week that will lock down more customers. They had a chance to release or atleast open preorders the 3rd and steal some customers from other carriers but they choose to wait and ultimately lose some of the potential customers they could have had.
It's a valid question. I agree if it is ready for release holding it back only costs them money. But there are so many things that have to be just right, ESPECIALLY for verizon. So who knows.
Plus it will get ICS and then all the nexus has over it is the hd screen. Both will be good phones but to say 1 phone will be the phone of the year is hard to do with android phones when something new is out every other week.
