So now we think it's releasing earlier?

Can someone please stop this roller coaster, just for a while.

When I get frustrated about the release of the GNex, I think about what things would be like were I an Apple fanboy waiting for the iPhone 5, because the 4S didn't change enough of "everything." LOL
 
Well, looking at that post from DL, the advertising dates are not that important. The iPhone part of it has a start date of November 14. Obviously that has nothing to do with actual release date. And it seems that the "Galaxy Nexus" is only a small part of the Samsung portfolio to be advertised beginning after Black Friday (others being, of course, Galaxy Tab, etc.)

This really doesn't convince me that we're not getting it earlier. All this says is that they are going to market it as heavily as the RAZR for the Xmas shopping season.

The situation, as I see it, is no different than it was yesterday.

We have no clue.
 
I'm about ready to explode. All I want is a decent phone, not a gimmick phone. I waited all summer for the GS2 to hit the US... Verizon didn't carry it. I've waited all this time for the GNex, and they're just sitting on it...toying with me.
Verizon, I'm out of contract as of tomorrow. You better hope nobody else releases this phone before you.
 
I was just noticing the Razr forum didn't start up until around Oct 14 and it's releasing on Nov 10 (I think), less than a month. Whereas our forum started up in late August and we're HOPING for a November release, pushing 1/4th of a year. No wonder we get restless sometimes.

So if Verizon is taking forever to launch the darn phone... Does this mean people who are waiting for the AT&T phone have to wait even longer? Ugh....

I hate to join the negative nellies... But this is one screwed up launch of a flagship phone.
 
Verizon minion: Sir, just reporting that the fanboys over at Androidforums are very upset with us for not releasing the phone sooner.

Verizon god: Mwuahaha! Let them wait! Their misery is my delight!

Verizon minion: I thought you'd love the news, sir.

Verizon god: Watch them closely. As soon as they feel certain about a release date, send out false rumors and we will push the phone back even further. Mwuahahaha!!!
