It does it does. It rolls off my tongue so nicely.
Although a slow day wouldn't be entirely bad, productivity at work would improve if news / discussions of our Precious is slow.
 
Will 2012 be the year of Android HD after all? Looks like the Sony Experia Arc HD is joining the Rezound and the Gnex in this class.

I think this bodes well for rapid development to exploit the capability increase.

Anyway, drop those blustery morning fears because I still don't think that the 17th is an extinct date.

Now we are looking at online only starting on 11/21?!?!

I'm still playing the optimist and saying pre-order 11/10, release 11/17. Perhaps I can think it into reality. :D
 
Saw the roadmap post on Phandroid and see everyone interpreting w/o 21st as web only on the 21st. I read it as week of the 21st, probably indicating Black Friday.

Am I just missing something? Really hoping to see this thing in store for comparison's sake.

There are several recent examples of phones going for sale as soon as the announcement happens, or pre-sale right after the announcement.

So I'm with ya, that's what I'm hoping for too.
 
21 November would not be bad. But it seems that it has been delayed to December 2 now, at least in Europe. Amazon, that gets its stock from Samsung directly, said the product release has been delayed. It is unlikely that they are the only one affected (Amazon was also the first one who posted the product for sale).
 
Dawnirae, I'm right with you sweetie. I'm sending positive vibes toward Verizon HQ with the mantra "Nexus the 17th.... Nexus the 17th.... Nexus the 17th...."

Still, a 4-day add-on (over a weekend) isn't much to deal with after the wait we've had, but it's a psychological weakening of our resolve to stand fast and buy it over their other offerings. The 21st isn't the end of the world.

But online ordering only? I can only hope that they offer overnight shipping so we can get it on the 22nd. And you can bet I'll be at my laptop at just before MIDNIGHT Sunday to order that pup before their stock sells out!

This looks to be a very recent development. It had been looking fairly solid for a Nov 17th release here in the UK, but this does not look good.

Only on Friday there was this press release directly from Samsung.

If they've changed their mind in 3 days, only 1 working day, then they must be having major issues with something.

That is not good for sure, but could just be when Amazon will get it... Plus Samsung has already confirmed a 17th date for Europe, and nothing yet from them to indicate a delay, so until that announcement is made, I am gonna stay optimistic about the 17th.
 
I realized this morning that this phone has been perpetually "2-weeks" away. Now that it's Monday the 7th, we are thinking release on the 21st. If we ever get less than 2 weeks away I'll consider it a miracle!

News of the UK version getting delayed is definitely not good...

That is one thing, if it IS web/only, we will all be here together when the ordering occurs. Unfortunately I will be at work that week, so I will definitely be jealous when the few lucky souls who were able to be home start reporting they got theirs.
