They are OEM Samsung accessories.
I've been calling, e-mailing, and going to Verizon Store but they're very firm on their stance of not allowing me to upgrade any earlier. I have a Droid X with buttons that are wearing out and is becoming frustrating to use and I explained my situation to them but I still will have to pay the full retail price for a new phone if I wanted to upgrade. Unfortunately it doesn't look like I'll be getting a Galaxy Nexus.My upgrade date is in March 2012 since I bought a Droid X at launch.
i upgraded to droid x about 2 weeks after launch and when bionic came out i was eligible for an early upgrade basically paying $20 early upgrade fee. howcome you arent able to upgrade?

Well forget all these "sources," THIS is all the confirmation I need that the phone will be with us on the 17th. Hopefully you're traveling to a tax-free state where you can pick up your phone and save a few bucks?

The incredible Incredible thread had it's final post made on April 29th 2010 at 11:31 am. That post had 256 thanks and was the post closing the thread. It was post number 47904 on page 959. That thread was also aloud to go wildly off-topic and had 6 times the number of deleted posts that this one does. It was also a different time in Verizon, Android and Android Forums history.

Stopped by my local VZW corporate store last night, played with the Razr for a few minutes. That screen was uncomfortably warm just SITTING there, I can't imagine how hot it gets when you actually use it a lot..... (nods to Steven)
I am 6'4" with big hands, so it felt comfortable to me, size-wise, but after a few minutes of playing with it, my conclusion was:
A thinner and wider Bionic with hopefully less bugs and a non-removeable battery. I'll PASS.
Then I got one of the managers that I am friendly with (we know each other outside of the store) to slip me the ReZound that they arent supposed to let anybody see until MONDAY.....
The sound from the BEATS Audio is AWESOME! The screen is GORGEOUS! I really like the new Sense 3.5! The thickness of the phone isn't THAT bad, to me.
But I still passed.
Thanks for helping me STAY STRONG BabyBlues!!! I only get ONE CHANCE to swap out this Bionic, and I. AM. WAITING. FOR . THE. NEXUS!
I will be grumpy if I have to wait past Thanksgiving, but I will be grumpy and WAITING.
And in case you thought WE were obesssed with The Nexus.......

Phone was not noticeably faster than The Bionic, felt like the same phone speed-wise.
The spacing on the keys using the stock keyboard was very, VERY nice, especially for someone with big hands like me.
The camera sucked. Just as much as the Bionic. From Focus to capture felt like FOREVER.

Yeah I saw that, and had thought about posting something in my good morning thread, but thought it would be better addressed seperately. You beat me to it
. But seriously, does anyone read all the blog and news posts about this phone? Almost everyone says it is delayed, as a result of the Amazon listing. No one will even consider that Amazon is an outlier, and so even though we know have three seperate UK carriers listing the 17th, and Samsung confirming on twitter the 17th is still valid, All I read is headlines stating ICS is delayed.How difficult is it to do a google search to check if there is corroborating or refuting evidence before writing a story? Its almost as if they are going out of their way to make people think the phone is delayed. Is there a journalistic Apple fanboi illuminati conspiring to ruin the GNex's sales on the first weekend? Hmm, makes you think

Hate to say it and I won't hijack the thread, but you're going to find yourself on an island with this one. Pretty much everyone reviewing it (myself included) has found the camera to be a huge improvement over the Bionic, especially speed wise. Quite frankly, it wasn't even close. It seemed to take the Bionic 5 seconds to autofocus and 5 for the shutter. Takes about 2 seconds TOTAL now. Just sayin'...

I will say that that thread evolved into a much more friendly thread (see how this particular thread behaves) over time. I think it was important training ground for Steven58.
I'd say a big reason why this thread is so friendly is because of how hard the mods here and thread posters fought to Keep it civil between posters. The culture in this thread has taken a lot from that thread. IMO.

The few mins I played around with it in vzw store, the camera seemed very very snappy.. Not zero lag like gnex but not far from it.

maybe the settings need to played with or something? Because I thought the same thing, it took FOREVER for it to take a picture. But I didn't mess around with any settings... the phone was so so slow, I got frustrated with it...

Could be that for sure...Like Gravytrain said above you, it's not zero lag, but it's not far behind. For me, the phone took about a second or so to autofocus and once the little square turned green and I hit the button, it took the photo instantaneously.
Will be interested in comparing the two when I have them both in hand. Looking forward to the G Nex as well (back on point).
Oh Crap :/ I just thought of something...
I don't know how many people use Swipe, but if you do its a insanely addictive keyboard... I wonder if it works on ICS?
this wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but I'd cry daily until I learned to tap instead of slide again :/

There's one app that does swype, tap, and handwriting....i think it's flex type or something like that? Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Good point. I just checked the Amazon site to see what that $111 deal was all about, and it says that the RAZR is back ordered and won't ship for the next 8 or 9 days. I think that Amazon gets only a very limited supply, and so when it says that the UK version is "releasing" Dec. 2 or whatever, it's probably referring to it's own expected arrival of supply. Who knows.
