When I first heard that song at the tender age of 12, that was a defining moment in my life. Bruce Dickinson's operatic vocals still sends a chill down my spine when I listen to this song.

Iron Maiden, FTW!

Yeah, I am more of a Metallica fan. Actually, that is about all I listen to... :o

Yes, you can easily transfer upgrades either online or in-store. :D

I'd recommend going in-store though. When my wife used my upgrade a couple of months ago, they didn't actually use up the upgrade from my line, so I was still good to go at any time. It's why this wait has been so excruciating for me.

Not sure if they did it by accident, or out of kindness. I didn't notice it until a couple of days later.

Actually, Metallica is one of my favorites as well. The 2nd defining moment in my life (muscially of course) is the first time I heard "For Whom the Bells Tolls" off Ride the Lightning. I sat there with my jaw on the floor, perfectly still, much the same way I was when I heard, "The Number of the Beast" the first time.

I liked everything up to St. Anger. I liked Load, ReLoad, and S&M. I sure as heck didn't like St. Anger and I just can't get into Death Magnetic no matter how hard I try.

Alright, for those of you whose phone is rooted and are going to the store to get your Galaxy Nexus, are you concerned about them saying or doing anything because your phone is rooted? And that you might have the tethering widget installed on your phone? Should we unroot it or delete certain apps before going in?

I love this picture of the device.

Absolutely Clean... and oh so sexy! :D

Conclusion from the article:

The Galaxy Nexus is the best Android phone ever made. It's one of the best smartphones ever made, and with a couple of minor tweaks (particularly to the camera), it could be the best smartphone ever produced.

Still, there's really not much to knock here. The hardware is elegant and smartly designed. The software is beautiful and useful. Google has cleaned up a lot of the bad, and replaced it with a serious amount of good. It's faster, smarter, and a lot more friendly than any of its predecessors. Ice Cream Sandwich easily gives iOS and Windows Phone a run for their money, and in many ways, it's a superior operating system than either of them.

If there's a bone to pick, perhaps it's with the size, which could be off-putting to some, or the fact that right now the only carrier you can definitely get the phone on in the US will be Verizon. But those are minor blips on the radar, not show stoppers.

Since day one, I've been waiting for an Android device that lived up the promise of such a powerful OS. I think I can stop waiting now.

I was addicted to CS for years, then DoD which I STILL play a couple times a month. Those games had serious staying power...

Honestly I held off getting a PS3 for a long time because I was afraid of the problems it might cause. Luckily enough I suck at MW3 and COD online so I don't play much :D

Well, I've been F5'ing all the usual suspects since this a.m. but it's time to go to work and pretend I'm doing something productive. Will check back later, hopefully we get some more evening love.

Why would you give them your phone? Unless you plan to donate it? or do the "buy-back" thing?

If you planing to give it to them, I would WIPE the phone COMPLETELY, before giving it to them, I wouldn't trust anyone with the data on it.

also unroot and install a stock ROM if your running a custom one.

Yeah mine wasn't too happy over my counter strike addiction back in the day :D

I had a bit of a problem with UT and UT2k4, but nothing like RtCW. Just something about that game, you know? I tried CS:S but my friend kept getting mad at me cause I had trouble telling the couter-terrorists from the terrorists and kept shooting my teammates. So we stopped playing that at LAN parties. :D

Wasted a lot of time with Q3 as well. I'm going back through DOOM3 (slowly) and plan to finally beat Dead Space once I finish DOOM3.

Hope I dont get ninja'd too badly on this, but here is a link that shows the GSM and LTE versions side-by-side (profile view) to compare thickness. It is a little deceiving as the two models are trimmed out a bit differently, so the GSM version looks even thinner (and more attractive, I think).

Verizon's LTE version of Samsung GALAXY Nexus a bit more hefty than GSM version

I wish the LTE version had the silver or whatever that is down the side. It definitely does slim it down a bit, at least in this picture, and I personally just like it.
