Sonofa. All I accomplished was diluting my ratio of Thanked-to-Posts. Time to watch one last Gnex bedtime story on YouTube and hit the hay. Sweet (Gnex) dreams.

You lost me on the "instant gratification". So, you are gratified at the "idea" of getting the phone? I think "instant gratification" should be reserved until you ACTUALLY get the phone, but that's just me. I guess, for some people, the anticipation is more important.

It's all about the hunt. The thrill of the chase. What happens when you cross the finish line? You know that right?

Here's a repost, proof I did it honestly, this time. :D ;) ;)

Goodnight all!

YyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyES!

I did it (honestly, this time!) :) :) :D

For true gratification I'd want it in my hands. But second best would be pre order

At the rate we go around here it seams potentially possible to hit that next milestone Tomorrow or Sat. Wow, thats a crazy thought..Think I need to go to bed..maybe I'll wake to a live preorder page...More likely though I will dream that the order link is live then, just as I hit the order button, I'll wake up.

I have a funny story I have to share before I go to bed. After I get done posting earlier about my Verizon store manager contact, I get a voice mail on my phone. I think its funny as I was in reception and my phone hadn't rang. So I listen to the message, and find out its a person calling me about my " previous request to upgrade to the Galaxy Nexus".

After hearing the message, I instantly freak out. I am in panic mode because I had earlier in the week emailed ALL the Verizon executives a long, complimentary, and inquisitive email about the SGN. I had one call me back, and although she didn't give any info, we had a great conversation. She promised to message a representative who earlier hooked me up and have that person personally call me when I can order the phone. So after the latest, I thought my time had come and I missed the call.

Fearing the worst, I quickly called the number she called me from but it said she was out of the office and I got transferred to a call center. So I speak to a csr who tries to do research, and can't find any notes for someone trying to call me. After looking for awhile, he thinks he finds the person and tells me he sent them a message. He told me they'd call me back, but not sure when that would be.

As I impatiently wait for a call back, I listen to the message again and pay attention to the persons name this time. I call Verizon back and talk to another csr. This time she looks in my notes and explains to me over 30 people have been into my account in the last week since I spammed their corporate offices! Oops! Luckily she finds the right person and sends a request for her to call me back. When she does, she mentions the sgn is not up for release yet, and no date has been given. She also says the person who is supposed to call me back is high up in the food chain, and can do crazy good things for me!

After hearing this, I am super happy! Now I get a call back from my original messenger, only to be told still no date yet, but I will be given a call soon. She says she called me back just to keep the open line of communication going and so I would know I wasn't forgotten.

So anyone who thinks they've been messed with due to a lack of date given, can think of my roller coaster ride. I thought for sure tonight was going to be good for me since an executive was calling me past 8 pm. I can't really complain though. Even though I built myself up for something before I knew what it was about, I'm just happy for the good customer service.

A rollercoaster it has indeed been!
