I was thinking about the Fire as well for my wife she wants one along with a GN. The video I saw of the fire....the device looked really laggy though :confused:

My hourly post to encourage the Verizon upper management to release our Nexus.

I am phone less until this bad boy releases and it is a major PIMA.

We'll see what he writes back, or if he calls. But on Monday, if there is no release or pre-order period, I'm going to go ahead and do it. And I'll be putting the screen to the scratch test to see what's what.

It's Friday 2:30 eastern. If YOU were a Verizon Executive would you expect to be int the office at 2:30 on a Friday? I wouldn't. If by some off chance you were still in the office at 2:30 on a Friday, you can bet you'd be in a foul mood. I certainly wouldn't be returning emails from double disgruntled customers that seem hard to please. ;)

No personal experience, but based on some things others have said here, I infer that you might be able to transfer upgrade dates between the two lines. That might let you take advantage of its date without having to extend its contract.

That as well. Would be pretty silly to have a tablet with worse performance than your phone... honestly I may just wait until windows 8, or something along those lines that allows a full desktop experience on a tablet.
 
OK just called all three corporate stores in Pensacola. NADA, nothing no info, except that if I pre order from a corporate store, it comes to me in the mail. Also, they are not even accepting pre orders. Said they only normally know about releases 3-4 days before. He also said that the other stores that are pre ordering are probably just putting you on a list to lock you up. He said I should wait till it released (whenever) and come in and let my flesh touch the plastic..whenever that is, again.
I'm thinking that the 11/21 wo info , is going to be for web pre order only. So if thats true, at least Monday they should be able to tell us WHEN orhow long the pre order should take.
I wish congress was involved. They could be bribed or it would have already been leaked!!
Also thinking that Steve Jobs would never let this happen, in fact I cant understand why Google would let it happen this way, since there name is on it.

BTW, I'm coming from a rooted Droid Eris that is lucky to still be alive considering how many times I've wanted to throw it against the wall. The Gnex WILL be mine on launch day!

And you may be on to something. When the GNex was announced on Verizon, it was late friday afternoon. Maybe the exec leaving the office is what we want! Then his assistant sneaks onto his computer and hits send on the announcement.
