Only problem with your thought is when the g nex releases the next week or month you will be bummed. I am waiting. I have a thunderbolt and the rezoumd is the same as far as i am concerned.

Drove by my local store at 630 this morning. No signs in the windows except for iPhone4S and Razr. I dont think the old saying "no news is good news" fits this situation

Haha, yeah. Unfortunately my son will never be able to play organized football, he has only one kidney, so doctors pretty much forbid it. So the Bears will need to look elsewhere. ;)
 
Good Morning all. Another 3 days of work this week where i way to constantly check this thread for updates. Last week ended so positively. Fingers crossed to hear something today. I'm still hopeful for some news this week.

I don't believe I will be bummed at all. The ReZound has far exceeded my expectations. Once S-Off is achieved and I can Root-n-Rom I think I will be very happy with this phone for the forseeable future. Of course, sooner or later something wil come out that catches my fancy that I simply MUST have, but at this point, that something won't be the Nexus.

By the time the Nexus drops, it will already be too late - for me, anyway. Every day that passes is a day closer to CES 2012. :(
 
Had my first Nexus dream last night. Not so much about the phone itself, but about it coming. I dreamt that I woke up and checked my phone, only to see all of you talking about how you just pre-ordered. Such disappointment when I actually woke up and found that not to be the case.

I'm still hopeful we'll see a web-only order today. Every time I look at the 12/08 pictures and compare them to the 11/21 one, I feel even more that the 12/08 are from authorized retailers.

Speaking of authorized retailers, I asked a friend of mine who works for one. He knows all about the Nexus and was waiting for one himself, but he's heard nothing and grabbed a ReZound to hold him over. I'm not surprised that he knew nothing, since he's just a normal associate (not manager) and it's not a corporate store.
 
Interesting that Vodaphone (45% owner of Verizon) has also held up the release of the Nexus in the UK. Apparently the devices did not pass their rigorous testing. Seems like they had a point given the complaints from across the pond about the volume issue. Apparently the other carrier(s) in the UK released the phone so they either did not detect the issue or decided it was minor enough to release anyway.

Is it possible that Verizon actually has much less culpability in this delay then we all assume? Just a thought.

On a good note, the Motorola flip phone I've been reduced to has lasted all weekend on a single charge...wooooo hooooo.

Not really good, GIVE ME MY DAMN NEXUS.

I go to work, I look at it piling up, I hit refresh, look at the work that piled up in the interim, hit refresh, realize it is lunch time, punch out for an hour where I don't feel guilty about the refresh cycle then do it again after lunch.
