Nexus Junkie Family,

I'm very busy at work and haven't been up to date on this thread. Please accept my apologies as life is a bit busy at work. If I skip a few pages and leave out some thanks, please understand. These next two week, I have to squeeze 5 days of lessons in to 4 days. I'm swamped.

Please PM me with any pertinent updates. I'm trying to keep up, though.

Another blog that doesnt know anymore than we do..... Hell we probably have more hits.
BTW, VZW is getting tons of FREE advertising, all over the net, for a phone with no release date. They gotta be loving that.

It is when the advertisement is set to be released and since it doesn't say coming soon under the Nexus, than one could assume it is coming out that day or even before actually.....

Likewise, I was told this same thing by a Verizon store earlier this week, and she seemed pretty confident in that date as well. I think maybe they'll open it for pre-orders on 12/1, available 12/8? That would also get them through the BF weekend, but then maximize their air time to the GN.

Why exactly is that embarrassing? It's the 4S not the 4. You know, their brand new model?

iOS is a lot more lightweight than Android, so if an android phone can even match the speed and smoothness of the newest iOS device, that is far from embarrassing.

The power of Android with the speed and smoothness of iOS in one device? Yeah I'd be embarrassed to own that.... :rolleyes:

I think it's either a hoax or Best Buy jumped the gun in their advertising or was basing that flier off of a previous release date, which has since been pushed. There is much more evidence of a 12/8 release than 12/1 at this point. It's just more rumor mill stuff aimed at teasing us into believing we'll get it earlier than 12/8 :P

Currently being an AT&T customer, I was concerned that the DD promotion would end before the Nexus came out. Nobody in the store (including the manager) could figure out when it ended, however, I'm supposed to call him back later today to see if he gets the answer.

While I was discussing the DD promo, the store manager actually told me that he heard a Dec. 1st date for the Nexus (surprisingly, I didn't even ask for the date, he brought it up). I asked him where he got his info, and he said he got the date from one of his Verizon sources yesterday. Interesting how that jives with the Dec 1st dates that just popped up within the last hour or so. Just thought I would share.

Yeah this date is gathering more steam guys, I was told the same thing by a store manager at my local store last night. He said he got the date earlier in the day, and that he was even allowed to finally take down names for unofficial preorders.....which he wasn't allowed to do before yesterday.....

As an old member of the gaming community I've been using IGN's site for over a decade and like many sites, you need to take what they say with a grain of salt. I think people mostly get on them for their reviews the last few years. One of those cases where they just follow the masses and don't always speak the truth...or overlook shortcomings because of what the people want to hear

...Sort of like the Apple community. ;)

I kid, I kid, but not really.

Yeah, but it has to be an old rev, because it's not the Nexus Prime and we have known that for a while now (like almost a month). I don't put much stock in this flyer ever being released into the public as shown.
