I think the biggest thing pushing me toward the rezound is that I can have it NOW. Thanks for the discussion all, I'll keep waiting with you for the gnex. Happy Thanksgiving all!

Have you noticed any clipping while listening to music? My Droid does it whenever the screen goes to sleep. How is the overall quality of the sound? Not sure I ever saw anyone discuss that.

I thought one of the bigger differences among the devices were the screen real estate but the GN only has .35 inches over the rezound. If you factor in that the on screen buttons will take up some space part of the time, they are almost the same.



And that's a worst case scenario, I think we'll hear something by monday.

Cyber Monday would be the perfect time to make an announcement - even if it is just a pre-order announcement. crossed fingers :)
 
Music playback is smooth as silk. Sound quality i think is a bit better than my iPod, but that may just be a placebo effect. The EQ is a nice touch and does work. You also have the option to add a 3D sound effect, or turn the bass up with a bass booster on top on the EQ. Notifications pause the music, but there is a slight panning in and out so it doesnt sound like the song is stuttering.

Happy Thanksgiving all! Would be a better day if we had our Gnexes.. but still tons to be thankful for today.

Here's hoping everyone enjoys their time with family and friends, eats more than their fill and that those brave/crazy enough to venture into the madness that is BF avoid the temptation to give in to one of the many phone deals instead of holding out for the Gnex.
 
On this Thanksgiving Day, I am so grateful for so many things in my life. In addition to all the blessings in my normal daily life (family, friends, etc.), I appreciate the mods and all the participants in this forum. I have really enjoyed all the speculation, entertainment, and even the occasional piece of actual news over the past two months. My wife and I are really excited to get our GNex's soon. Next Thanksgiving, we will be giving thanks for our GNex!

That was me. Yes, they look to be the exact same headphones. No telling if the ones that come with the Nexus are any better in terms of the sound drivers, but as far as aesthetics goes they are exactly the same, and I'm willing to bet that since the Tab is only about 6 months old the headphones are the exact same.

These headphones are comparable to, if anyone remembers these, the Microsoft Zune "Premium" Earbuds that they used to sell for like 40-50 bucks, at least in terms of sound quality and reproduction. I have those earbuds too. In terms of anything in the 50 dollar range, they are both really good earbuds.

What I'm saying is, the earbuds you'll likely get with the Nexus are comparable to 50 dollar earbuds, except you are getting them in the box. And they blow anything Apple gives you in the box out of the water. The Apple stock earbuds are actually pretty lousy.

First, I'm embarrassed that as a full blown Nexaholic that it's Thanksgiving morning and the first thing I did upon waking was check this forum.

Second, you gotta admit, the 47K is a huge milestone. It's our last 1,000 hurdle before we bypass the Incredible thread.

Third, I thought Phases requested we not jockey for the milestone? I don't see anything wrong with an "end zone dance" (keeping with the OT football chatter for today) and multiple thanks for the post.
