MOST of us have agreed? Not to slam anyone, but how could any Star Wars fan (I won't tell you how many times I watched #4 in the theater back when you couldn't play with your Galaxy Nexus while standing in line) suggest watching it any other order?

I'm sure only Verizon exclusives get that DROID branding though..

Love how on Craig's List every android phone is a "droid".
 
Was it ever confirmed we could pre-order today, or was this just a rumor so far?

Sorry I was out of town for the holidays and was not able to keep up with the all the pages.

if you preorder, i think they'll ship it out the day stores release it? i'm not really sure. i imagine you'd have it same day as store release, or 1 day after, or 2 days after

For the Incredible it shipped 2 days before, with 2-day shipping, so it would arrive on on release day.

Note: If you pre-order and want to change the shipping options(i.e. change it to overnight before 9:30am so you don't have to take a full day off work). you have to be EXTREMELY careful that they don't change it on you.

Just a rumor. The latest rumor the pre-order actually being tomorrow (11/29) but that is still unconfirmed.

Well, as of now, it still is a Verizon exclusive.

Off-topic: The worst part about weekends, particularly holiday/Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, is coming back to 650+ items in my RSS feed to trundle through :eek: Yikes. Should really unsubscribe to some of these tech sites, they're basically all just re-hashing each other...
 
I started searching the forum for the answer for this but couldn't come up with search terms that yielded a reasonable number of hits, so I turn to you:

Has anyone called Verizon to get their upgrade eligibility date moved up, had a notation made on their account, then gone to Best Buy to use the early upgrade?

That Stratosphere looks like a good Christmas present, reasonably priced at $0 today.

Thanks. I was actually going to get the Razr on the Amazon deal for a penny, but looks like it's back up to 199 again. I knew I should have ordered it last week before going out of town.

Any suggestions on a phone to use till the SGN is released? I really need to get off my AT&T line as I have no service in the office. I've put it off long enough and with the release still days away, I can't wait much longer.

Stigy, you might want to post your topic (as important as it is) in the All Things Root section of the forum. It would get a lot more attention there than being buried in this monster thread :)

I want to stab my eyes out every time I watch Hxx step on Jxxxx's txxx. Wish I could have the ORIGINAL original trilogy on Blu-Ray...

Guess then we would have to give up the less upbeat ad campaign created by Samsung and bare through another adolescent DROID advertising push...

"If" Verizon offers a pre-order for the GNex, can one pay by "billing to account"? I have been able to do this in store in order to delay the billing while I sell whatever current device I have, but I'm wondering if I can do the same for a pre-order. Has anyone done this before?

Certainly not the way I was expecting to start a Monday by catching up on the chaos in here. I respect and have enjoyed all those who have contributed for the last few months on this thread and never thought so little would cause such a large fallout. As far as I can tell the reasons to stay around this thread are dwindling. I have come up with the following. The release date, and trying to figure out which pic of BB is a self portrait.

I've done it that way - I think it depends on your account & credit history whether they'll let you bill it.
