Now I do, but I only noticed it because you mentioned it. Thanks a lot : p.

Oh no. I'm sorry. (really I am). I'll take the Nexus off your hands if you don't want it anymore. ;)

If it's any consolation, the reviewers who mentioned it have said they think it's "pleasant," like a "paper texture." If that was not any consolation, feel free to PM abuse at me.

Since I've already ruined your day, a question: does it appear even on the highest brightness setting? This is for science.

So does the 1280x720 resolution include the on screen menu/home/back buttons? 1280x720 is nice, but I hope the buttons aren't always taking up some of that real-estate.

I beg to differ. Hell is a place that burns with an eternal fire hotter than any fire we have ever known here on earth, there is no water, no food, nothing....not even death. It will be the dwelling place for many for all of eternity

I bet Verizon has a corporate office there.

Hey guys. Just got my Nexus in the mail from Expansys and I was instantly enamored with it. You guys have way more patience than me, but I can assure you it's worth it.

One thing I wanted to share that I don't remember being said yet is there's an option in the browser under "Labs" that takes away the nav bar and replaces it with a quick menu. Just swipe in from the right or left. Leaves even more room for content. I thought it was pretty cool.

...and people still wonder on the value of the on-screen nav bar... GNex or not, my next phone will NOT have fixed buttons under the glass.

I'd much rather have the bragging rights of Unlimited LTE for 2+ years than saying I had ICS first on AT&T.

6 months down the road we won't care who had ICS first, but we will definitely care about our Unlimited LTE plan.

It's barely noticeable, even if you know it's there... and no, it doesn't seem to appear on max brightness.

This is actually an excellent point - if Verizon is really planning to do away with grandfathered unlimited plans as suggested by the Android Central source, getting a new LTE phone and locking into unlimited for 2 more years is crucial.

EDIT: Why do all my posts seem to get stuck right at the ends of pages? Quite frustrating.. :/

68 degrees and humid in NY....Go figure.

Yeah...I was in NYC this summer for a week on vacation and thought...that'll be nice to escape this Alabama heat and humidity. Boy was I wrong...95+ degree heat nearly every day we were there. Still not as bad as a 95+ degree day in Alabama, but it wasn't pleasant.
