Hey guys. Just got my Nexus in the mail from Expansys and I was instantly enamored with it. You guys have way more patience than me, but I can assure you it's worth it.
One thing I wanted to share that I don't remember being said yet is there's an option in the browser under "Labs" that takes away the nav bar and replaces it with a quick menu. Just swipe in from the right or left. Leaves even more room for content. I thought it was pretty cool.
Att, the speeds are decent, just ran speedtest.
It's barely noticeable, even if you know it's there... and no, it doesn't seem to appear on max brightness.Oh no. I'm sorry. (really I am). I'll take the Nexus off your hands if you don't want it anymore.
If it's any consolation, the reviewers who mentioned it have said they think it's "pleasant," like a "paper texture." If that was not any consolation, feel free to PM abuse at me.
Since I've already ruined your day, a question: does it appear even on the highest brightness setting? This is for science.
This is actually an excellent point - if Verizon is really planning to do away with grandfathered unlimited plans as suggested by the Android Central source, getting a new LTE phone and locking into unlimited for 2 more years is crucial.
